He's officially a guest star, but I don't buy for a second that he's dead. Honestly, the biggest twist of all would be if he doesn't come back.

One of the regular cast posted a pic with Triton. So unless the pic was from the start of filming, Triton could come back.

Calling it now: there will be a cop out and this was all a vision of the kid with premonition powers.
May be ugly but I would prefer it to
the permanent deaths of the main characters we lost already.

Are you trying to say the whole season is An Occurrence on Owl Creek Bridge? I don't really buy it (and it wouldn't resolve Triton).

You're right, he would get his power inside his own vision, this idea totally doesn't work at all.
    Well, my bad. :oldrazz:

I hope then that they have something up their sleeve.

    Probably.
I meant more oriented at salvaging the characters. There's some good, somewhere, there or something.

They'll show up on AoS. None would be the wiser.

The characters are fine to me. If they had guest appearances on Agents of SHIELD or even a new season with a different show runner, it's salvageable. The problem is no one is given a lot to work with. Limited doses in a guest star role will do a lot for them. Lady Sif, for example, came off as a much more interesting character in Agents of SHIELD than the first two Thor movies.

I could even see Karnak as a regular.
But I'll keep my hopes in check for now.

I wonder if they could just reboot it. Keep some of the actors and say "Sorry, we screwed up awfully bad. Let's just all pretend it was a rough draft, sweep it under the rug, and try it again."

The same basic premise and assets and make a good version of season 1.

Reboot this and the other Marvel shows and introduce them in a MCU film.

They need to introduce a time traveler to change some event in the past that effects all the characters, they end the show with the various characters as either being born or very young kids. Then launch it into a movie where the version on television is thought of as an alternate reality. Allowing them to retell the story differently, even using different actors, because who knows how this change might have effected things. In the end the goal would be to rewrite the Inhuman's story and provide everyone with a more faithful adaptation.

At least that is what I want to see happen. They are not planning a season 2, so to me this would be best case scenario.

They don't need to explain it IMO.

Films and TV shows don't exist together, even if a few film characters appeared in the TV shows. but with the inhumans, zero appearance from a film character. So it is much easier to ignore.

How many episodes is season 1? I have a limited time to watch this show before it expires from cable and I'm curious to see what Buck has bucked up now.

As far as Feige is concerned, the Inhumans do not exist in the MCU .......yet.

Man, catching up with this show after binging Stranger Things all weekend was like eating expired Taco Bell after having a three course dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

Haha, I'm planning on doing exactly that combo. Started Stranger Things an hour or 2 ago but had to take a break for F1.

Only eight, thank God. I wouldn't bother starting, though. It's terrible.

Well then so much for the "It's all connected" speach. I mean it's well known the connections have all pretty much run one way, but still I always felt that had to do more with the way Television and Movie schedules are so completely different, instead of it being an intentional exclusion. I mean television stuff is shot a couple weeks in advance where Movies are shot many months in advance. So, television knows what is happening in the movies way in advance where as the movies hear about what is happening in the shows after even their reshoots are done. So, basically always felt it was a logistics problem more then anything else. Although, I know their is bad blood between Feige and Perlmutter. Perlmutter, looks pretty old from the one recent photo I saw of him. Shouldn't he be retiring soon. We need another Feige to over see the TV division, cause Permutter stinks and Loeb is hit or miss. Anyways, enough with my rant.

    Surfer

P.S. Just checked and he is 74.

It's not that bad, but the central point of the plot isn't something that should have been drawn out this long. There is some really skilled acting in the midst of some sloppy storytelling, and some truly funny moments that offset some dramatic misfires.
