What are some action movies that start women? My girlfriend likes to complain about how women never get to just blow **** up, so I want to try and find a list of them.

And not Charlie's Angels.

I wouldn't call it good, but it was ok for a one time watch. That could be one that your gf might like if she wants to see more female characters kicking ass. Based on a true story.

I would go see a Perfect Dark movie. Joanna Dark is a great Female heroine

How about Armatage. I know she is Anime, but she kicks the crap out of everything.

God, this movie is ridiculously underrated!! One of my favorite Shane Black-scribed films. Geena Davis was a beast as Charlie Baltimore. Brian Cox was hilarious as her mentor. "That dog has been licking itself for the last three hours. I assure you that there is nothing there that warrants more than a hour's attention!"

Have none of you seen Ultraviolet??? Nothing any woman has done tops that as far as badassness. Almost every scene utilizes a different style of martial arts. The chase scene of helicopter vs motorcycle is the sickest ever. The movies ends with a sword fight where the blades were on fire. And to top it off Milla Jovovich looked amazing through the whole movie.
