Transformers Action Scenes Thread

What did you guys think about the action scenes? The first few were good but the big final fight was amazing. I think that was the best action scene I have ever seen!

BBvs Barricade/Sam vs Frenzy was my favorite.

During the final battle i like Prime vs Megatron parts 1 and 2. Loved it when Megatron growls "Prime!"

Also love it when Sam was running down the street w/ the Allspark flanked by Ratchet and Ironhide

I loved the startup. "It's only ME!" (Classic!). They crash into a building and... and... that's it. I must have zoned out.

So there is more to the fight?

Action is what this movie is ALL about!!!

Certainly, the Best element of this movie, period.

I loved a lot of the action, but whenever the bots went hand to hand, they started to blend together a little, so it was hard making it out what was going on. Maybe that was just me though. Still, it was all groovy.

The ending battle was gold. I was waiting to see a more recent movie with an absolute war between superpowered beings in the middle of the streets during the day with people all over the place, destroying everything, this movie gave that to me. Some may say it's cartoon action, but shows like Justice league show that cartoon action can be gold.

What I really loved about this movie's action though (and most of Bay's other action scenes) is that compared to other action movies the action is actually long enough so you can tell whats going on. I mean the Spiderman 3 action was awesome but that Bank fight was like 20 seconds long. Thankfully LFODH and TF both got this right.

When the final battle started, it was as if the movie reached out, grabbed my eyes, and wouldn't let go until after the movie finished. It was that great and awe-inspiring.

Yeah, the finale is probably the best action sequence I've ever seen in a while, let alone probably being my #1.

The action scenes were great. Fantastic. ILM is AWESOME! I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed the fight scenes. BB and Barricade...awesome, cannot wait for more in the sequel. Megs vs. OP....incredible. I absolutely love this movie mainly due to the action scenes, but the entire scene where Sam is looking for the glasses at his house is priceless.

Yes, I caught sooo much more when I watched it on my laptop with earbuds hooked in.

A particular moment I enjoy is when we get that shot from just below Sam, looking up a Starscream transforming - it really puts you as close as you can get to seeing a real transformer without actually doing so...

Probably because he was being shot at. I like the noise that the jet engine was making as he was transforming then he flew away and was spiraling in the air. Badass

You're going to laugh at this, but the scene that gave me goosebumps the first time I saw it (and still does) is when Sam is speeding down the highway and Prime and crew are coming at them and Prime does a 180 with Jazz tucked neatly in behind. That was some hella impressive driving and the first time I've ever seen someone do an on purpose 180 in a rig. Was awesome!

The first when you catch the tail end of his first transformation into a truck as he is standing upon the hill with the light behind him... in the theaters opening night there was a combination of a "hush" + "oooooh/aaaah" + "HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP" sound that fell over everyone. I think those few seconds set some sort of record for most spontaneous pants-wetting in a single room.

The second as the "hero" them plays and you see Prime rolling through the smokey alley towards Sam + Mik. If you listen, I think you actually hear him breathe as you rolls towards them. 100% pure, unadulterated, grade "A", USDA approved coolness factor right there.

Those two scenes were REALLY awesome in IMAX...along with the other action scenes.

You can't forget his heroic ally-enterance-to-powerslide-transformation scene. It was wicked.

I really liked Jazz, Ironhide and Ratchet fighting Devastator. Great teamwork. I just wish it could have been longer.

"Come on, Decepticon punk!" I love that.

I also like when Bonecrusher transforms on the highway and takes out the bus.
