I know some here have read drafts of the script and know quite abit about the production and was hoping someone could give me an idea as to what action sequences are in the movie:yay:

So the thread isn't just about my question which may be answered in one post i also wondered which sequences everyone is looking forward to the most

at first i wasn't that interested in the highway chase sequence, but after watching Bonecrusher Shoulder barge his way through a bus.... *drool*

that and the final scene with Prime.

The scene with Bumblebee vs Barricade racing head on then transforming in mid flight will be awsome no doubt. Plus the final fight with all the transformers blowing the s**t out of each other will be cool as well.

The first Blackout sequence sounds cool as well... to be honest the whole thing sounds great lol

LOL... he's right... the entire movie sounds hardcore with awesome actions of all types.

Are the humans involved in the highway chase ? i thought i saw Duhamel on a bike in the trailer

Also are there some aerial combat sequences ?

The Prime ending scene on Everest is an action scene ?

The Bumblebee vs Barricade fight is the only one i knew of and i agree it should be great,i'm guessing there is a Prime/Megs one on one right ? and do the TF's use their guns ?

No it's not Hunter, Thats the beauty of it.

I can't wait to check out Transformers in 2007!

v4life

The part of the movie I can't wait for is to hear Prime say, "Roll out." The action is just a bonus.

I thought so it was just with it being mentioned in here i wondered

if there's anything i'm thankful for...it's that Bay is a master at action. even if TF is only halfway based on the cartoon at least we'll be seeing some ridiculous eye candy. i've been waiting to see photorealistic CG robots duking it out since i saw what they can do with T2...

...that time is soon.

Action sequences...now here is something Bay is great at...and that's where it begins and ends.

I think we will get great action sequinces but also have a great epic feeling movie. I am sure that this is only the start to something that will run for 2 or 3 more movies.

I don't even think he's that good. His sequences all feel like "video games" not gut-wrenching action. His sequences are the type where the guy rolls out-of-control down a rocky hill and comes out with his hair perfect and not a single bruise.

They're fun to watch... if you turn off your brain. And they're polished and pretty. But, they're by no means "good" IMO.

to sum it up...CFlash just hates Bay...period.

And why shouldnt he? The only half way decent thing hes ever directed was the rock, and I think thats just cause it had Sean Connery and Nickolas Cage in it. Thier acting made the movie not suck that much, not micheal bays directing.

He isn't my favorite director either, but Steven Spielberg has faith in him so so should we. Come on with the people working on this movie it's in good hands.

He just plays nice for the cameras because "they" pull his strings. He secretly hates Bay and runs the Anti-Bay Underground Alliance.

he has every right to.

well i agree that Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage being in it definitely ups the cool factor, but we're not talking about the acting...this is the action thread...

...and that's something that Bay has a handle on better than most directors. i know you guys like to bash Bay because he doesn't make deep, thoughtful films (i agree) but give credit where credit is due. he can direct the hell out of action scenes.

I do agree, Bay shoots some badass action scenes. But then he edits them into nauseating-speeded hyper fests. Just my opinion, but the more action the more the camera goes insane and the editing tries to kill you with epilepsy.

Personally Bay is my favourite action director and i think the Rock was the best US action movie since Die Hard when it came out

I love his mix of style, spectacle and visceral thrills:yay:

i don't feel that way...i watched Pearl Harbor and the Island over Christmas weekend and i could follow them just fine. i'm not saying you can't have your opinion...mine just conflicts with yours since i don't have a problem with the editing on his action scenes...
