Why wasn't he a bigger star after The Princess Bride? I never understood it. He had the looks and charisma.

Well you know the saying some got the juice and some don't have the juice (actually I heard that in a Transformer episode).

I guess the same can apply for Michael Biehn who again had leading man looks and was in fan favorites like The Terminator and Aliens but he kind of fizzled in the 90's.

Another guy I'm remembering is Bill Campbell from The Rocketeer, same thing handsome guy but never to the level of superstardom.

Maybe it's the choices either the actors or their agents make for them.

Carey Elwes has made regular appearances on USA's PSYCH for years, and he actually had done the voice of AQUAMAN in the FLASHPOINT DTV. That being said, when I was younger I expected his career to go sky high.

That superhero girlfriend film had SO much potential. Too bad A. Uma decided to play it like Schumacher's Bat films, and B. the script itself was not more focused and sharp.

Well, I remember that no Superman actor (maybe Cavill's the exception?) has made a great acting career after being Superman.

What Cavill needs to transcend the "Superman trap" is another successful blockbuster tentpole franchise film under his belt.
