Should they look for actor who look more like the comic book character?, I mean I think it's best to get a guy who can really act like Blae did in Begins or Duncan in Daredevil. But Dunkan is black and some people got mad about that (which I think it`s stupid) but take Bale for example he has brown hair and brown eyes and Bruce Wayne has black hair and blue eyes, in SR Routh has brown hair but the made him wear blue contact lenses to cover his brown iris.

I don't know my point is in DD affleck dyed his hair reddish to look more like murdock and that was a cool, I think characters loose they appeal if they don't look more like the comic book one's for example maguire with deep blue eyes while parker has brown make it seems as not so avergae guy. So should they get actors who look more like the comic book characters?

Matt Murdock's hair is suppose to be blonde.

And in case you're wondering, that is really who Carlos thinks he is.

They should just get a guy who can act and fit perfectly with the director's vision....

As for the topic (in case you're wondering, I'm double posting for thematic reasons)...

Obviously, you want to cast people that look like the characters - and it is nice when you see them go the extra mile like Routh and Afflect, etc. did - but it is, in the end, a superficial concern, and not really an extremely important part of the movie making process, IMO. A way to put it would be that it's a bonus - it doesn't really affect the movie either way, but if it's there, you think "oh, that's cool."

As for the question in terms of the BB sequel, I really don't think it'll be much of a factor - they did a pretty good job at matching likenesses in BB, and if they're equally as good, I don't think anyone will be complaining.

I totally agree with you, CConn.:up:

Wasn't there an artist that drew a Batman/Bruce Wayne that looked much like Christian Bale?

If I remember correctly I saw a picture of it here months ago.
