Shailene herself has said she's no longer involved with the franchise and she's focusing on the Divergent films.

The 1% is uncertain being that she may still be under contract. Sony probably made her sign up for multi-picture contract as a standard obligation. That means she still could be doing the Spider-Man films or do film projects that is distributed by Sony. Or the deal was broken off when she was cut from TASM2.

It seems more certain that she's not Mary Jane.

The poor BO performance of TASM2 will limit the choices of actresses Sony has, unfortunately.
