The Last Jedi Adam Driver as Kylo Ren (VIII)

It would be nice if one of the main characters was a non human. A Twilek or Zabrak or some new species. Chewies not human but he's only a cameo now and he's been around for decades. We need some new non human main character.

Yes. I want it to be like the best Mass Effect games where you have a very diverse cast in terms of alien races and looks, including main characters with speaking roles. There were so many top non-human Jedi in the past and I really don't like that humans dominate the main roles on film so much. It was understandable in the original trilogy but in the 20teens when Star Wars films are making so much money I expected to see more of this aspect.

I wish
when the lightsaber exploded Kylo's face would have been severely ****ed up so they could have done what they originally planned to do with the villain: a partially mechanical face. Kylo's just too much of a pretty young face. He needs to be roughed up some. Give him a cyborg eye or take away his eye or scar him up some more and say he's been having to survive assassination attempts.

There are many things I can say about Adam Driver, but.....
having a pretty young face is not one of them.

Y'all don't need to be F'ing with this guy's face/body at all. He's fine as he is . :funny:

Yup a pretty boy

Sure evil can come from a pretty faced boy. But in fantasy and in star wars I want the villain to be visually interesting and emotionally interesting. Kylo is currently visually as interesting as white bread. I was fine with that in TFA, and JJ had him receive a nasty slash to the face so he was at least roughing him up some, but Rian undid that and made the scar minimal and destroyed the mask and even got rid of Kylo's half cloak/hood.

Masks and deformities make characters more visualy interesting? I disagree. J. K. Rowling tried to pull that too with Grindewald in Fantastic beasts by giving him white hair and yellow eyes, and that only made fans pissed. Why? Because by going the pseudo-voldemort/ evil guy look she wasted the potential that was already there in a charming and handsome person who was capable of doing horrible things. And whose beauty and charm might more easily make others follow his orders.

My argument just went through a bit of a side-trip but my point is that Kylo Ren is not visualy boring. The guy's raven haired, has a slightly big nose and has black robes. His mask's design was cool but i frankly prefer when he emotes without it. He has grown past the necessity to look more like Vader. I'm excited to see what comes next for him without him needing to go back to old quirks.

I think you'll find a lot of women consider Adam Driver very very hot. (as do I)

I also find Adam Driver attractive. He doesn’t look like many other guys or actors we’ve seen. His ”weirdness” is exactly the kind of quality that makes him so attractive.

He's sort of like Benedict Cumberbatch, in that he has a face that should be considered unattractive but somehow isn't.

I thought he was great in TLJ and can't wait to see what he does in IX.

He's not traditionally what you'd call handsome, but he's so interesting-looking that he kind of loops back around to being handsome. As opposed to someone like Hayden Christensen, who is about the most bland-lookin white dude I've ever seen.

it will be ****ing cool if we see lots of shirtless Kylo in the next SW convention
