I think Punch Drunk Love was a fluke for Sandler. That and it's PTA, so anything he makes is gold anyway.

As bad as Sander's films have gotten, Myers is nowhere near as good as Sander when he's on, and he never will be.

While Adam Sandler has made way more crappy movies and his SNL characters weren't nearly as funny as Mike Myers', Myers is also a huge dick in real life, or at least he was. Sandler on the other hand is supposedly one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. This is a tough one.

Well on this basis, Sandler. I'm never gonna meet Myers IRL, so it's the problem of other people. Sandler's films, however, are appallingly bad. Myers at least made Austin Powers and Wayne's World. The only Sandler products I've liked, have been Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds. And I like neither of those as much as I do the Powers or the Wayne series.

That's interesting that you like Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds the most. They aren't well liked in general.

Google "Mike Myers difficult to work with". I remember reading one story about how while promoting "The Love Guru", he was a guest on Conan, and he sent a team of interns out on a wild goose chase to find a specific brand of raspberry seltzer and he made them go back out when they brought back a different brand. I don't stand for *****ey behavior like that.

That sounds like a skit on Conan. Well, maybe more of a Letterman thing. I could see him going from store to store with a camera following asking store employees about raspberry seltzer for Mike Myers.

This was my first thought but then I thought about a few great Sandler moments and even more so all the great Steve buscemi moments. But I think I'll keep Myers

Now that I think about it I guess I haven’t seen a lot of Sandler’s movies, but even so I can;t say I really feel compelled to, either. Whereas with Myers I have liked everything I’ve seen, even Love Guru which I still pull out and watch a couple times a year. I don't know why that movie tanked the way it did. But then I think Crystal Skull is the best Indy, so what do I know lol.
