Anyone familiar with this?
I got it on my laptop yesterday, which I've had it repaired now, though I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on how it infected my computer and how I could possibly remove it myself should it happen again.
The way it works, it's an ad for Advir that constantly pops up telling you your cpu is infected and that you need to purchase the product to repair it. It blocks off your internet as well.
Any helpful info would be appreciated.
