Just hear me out, please. Wouldn't it be cool if they showed whatever end that they choose for Spider-Man 3 (probobly a Spidey swinging through city sequence). Then they show the credits, then after the credits suddenly the poof up the scene at the end of Spider-Man 2, with Doc Ock floating in the water, away into darkness. (but instead of it just ending with that, have an extended CG sequence, where it actually continues). Suddenly the red lights of the tenticals pop back on, and suddenly underwater Ock's arms begin to swing and jolt around fiercly. Then we see a mechanical arm come out of the water and grab onto the edge of the peir.

BLACK SCREEN

THE END

Wouldn't that be cool? It's sort of like what they did with POTC 2 and have that crazy sequence with that dog on the tribal throne.

Doc Ock "ISN'T" dead, says so the director (Raimi) and the actor who plays him (Alfred Molina). Plus, Molina is contracted to be in SM3 or SM4. He's not gonna be in SM3, so...;)

Where's your proof on that? We talked about this earlier. His tentacles died when he went under water. Therefore his brain died and the tentacles couldn't receive or send messages from the brain. HE's DEAD!

And wtf? You think Doc Ock would just be floating out in New York Harbor for however long the space is between and including SM3? No Way!

NO!

here's what i'm saying... possibly at the end of SM3 have a FLASHBACK of the minute he supposobly "drowned" then show that he got out and climbed back up!
Spider-Man 3 supposobly takes place a few months after Spider-Man 2. In that case, he'd be secretly hiding for only a few months before Spider-Man 4...

After credits scenes are always nice, but I prefer a good ol' cliffhanger. I hope there's a Lizard cliffanger in this film.

So he held his breath underwater for months/years? Lol, or maybe they forgot to add the scene to SM2.

Not going to happen... there are two many other Spider-Man villains that deserve their own movies... Doc Ock died... Get over it... Spider-Man 4 (if they DO make one) will most likely feature the Lizard... Honestly, I think you could put the Lizard, Rhino, and Kraven all in one movie (they all are Animal-themed...) and you could have Peter (or Conners) try to cure him... and have it go out of control... leading to 6-armed Spidey and eventually Man-Spider... Imagine a Man-Spider fighting Kraven... (similar to the 90's cartoon)... Anyway... point is... Doctor Octopus is dead...

If Sandman and Brock survive I'd like an after credit scene along these lines. Sandman is taken to a high secuirty prison, he's in a containment box of some sort being led to his cell, screaming at the heavens how Spider-Man will pay, he's loaded into his cell which is a white room, with the front unbreakable glass. He walks over to it, touches it and an electrical shock blows away his finger. He sighs, then hears a voice from across the other side of the wing. "We should talk". On the other side is Doc Ock, same sort of cell, with his mechanical arms extended to each corner of the room constrained.

Meanwhile Eddie Brock is in a regular prison, as he is powerless without the symbiote. He is standing over the sink frantically washing his hands, suddenly two armed guards walk in, "this is your new cellmate, Cleetus Cassidy" Cassidy restrained ala Hannibal Lecter says "oh I can tell we're gonna be the best of friends" then laughs like the friggin maniac he is. Shot of Brock's face looking very worried.

I'm not a Carnage fan, I just think it'd be pretty cool.

That'd be a cool way to have Doc Ock re-appear... but everyone (myself included) would be like "WTF, I thought he died?"

First, there's denial.

if there were to be one id say go with a lizard hint.....or the brock cassidy in jail thing

I've said it 2 times! Now read carefully:

HAVE DOC OCK ESCAPE HIS WATERY DEMISE RIGHT AFTER THE LAST OCK SCENE IN 2... meaning he's only be in there for like 10 seconds! I can hold my breath for that long... can't you? :whatever:

another thing worth mentioning is i've been reviewing other threads where someone came up with the Venom idea for Spider-Man 3 and a bunch of idiots ridiculed him and teased him and said he was stupid... guess what... now we see that Venom IS in the story. same thing happened with Sandman I beleive. As well as Gwen being in the story!

point is, you NEVER know what could happen! Molina AND Molina's stuntman BOTH signed up for 4! explain that!

I was joking, lol.

well they could have that too? have before the Construction battle, Peter visit Connors and he talks about his Lizard formula. then have scenes going along like this:

Construction battle
Harry's death & Funeral
Gwen and Peter talk, and Peter decides to go with MJ instead
Brock and Kasady in jail
Spidey swing through the city
Credits
Ock flashback

the only way i see doc ock coming back after he was 'redeemed' is if something happed like electro misfiring and hitting the water sending an electrical charge that fired the tentacles back up, i feel like that could work plot wise, but im not so sure i wanna see doc ock again, and really not sure about electro

I can't wait to see Venom's fans in grief come May 4th. And watch them go thru the stages of denial, anger, and grief.

Heck, some of them are already going thru it now :oldrazz:

I agree with Doc Ock. I fear the main complaint of those disliking or hating this movie after it comes out will be "not enough VENOM!!!", "Oh no!VENOM died! How could they do this!" or "VENOM should have beaten Spider-what's-his name to a pulp and take his place in the franchise".

I've already pre-planned a memorial.

:oldrazz:

You're one of the few people I don't wish that on :cwink:

Oh, that'll just be one of MANY complaints about the movie, my friend. After being on a message board for the making of several superhero movies, you can predict what the complaints will be before the movie even comes out.

SM-3 will be ragged on for:

-Lack of purpose for Gwen
-Harry's costume
-Lack of use of Venom, and Venom dying
-Sandman being Uncle Ben's killer
-Venom's look, if the action figure remarks are anything to go by
-Sandman giving into his little girl and surrendering at the end

There'll be more than that, too. Guaranteed.
