After the Secret Invasion is..... Zombies?!?

I really doubt this is going to be a big event. Probably a self contained mini.

Oh excellent all the books I pick up will tie into this rubbish.

Fantastic

I'll pass. I've skipped all the other Zombie stuff so far. Not a zombie kind of guy.

Im sorry but as much as i love zombies this marvel zombies stuff is getting to be ridiculous. I mean come on now. It was bad enough when we were getting countles covers that had been zoombified when said comic had nothing to do with marvel zombies in any way shape or form. Im sure its onlt matter of time now before we are getting zombie skrull variant covers :sigh: :whatever:

zombies is kinda sad. There's no need for it, it's a gimmick just the same as wanted.

no real story development, just a 'cool' piece of literature.

So I guess no one actually read the article?

Marvel Zombies is it's own mini. It's not an event.

Yeah, but they got Black Power Rings. It's completely different. :)

Also, it will be good, and it will be written by a talented writer with a respect for his characters. Also, it's had some actual buildup to help develop the ideas within it before it comes out.

So yeah, it's different.

Hey hey, whoa. You trying to say something about Kirkman? Cuz i'll have you know that his work on Invincible and Walking Dead would prove otherwise. Not to mention his care for characters in Marvel Team Up, and that Antman book he did.

Linky

Hmm... zombies invade 616.

The only book out of that four that I buy is AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE, and Dan Slott & Christos Gage are running a tight ship there, so it should be good.

Still, I am not a big zombie genre fan, and so thus MARVEL ZOMBIES hasn't been one of my picks. I am unsure if this is a big event or not, because considering the Marvel Zombies spun out of Ultimate X-Men, it could be a case of Ultimate meeting 616, something Joe Q has vowed not to let happen.

Still...first aliens, now Zombies? Ugh. What next? Gorillas?

I'm actually trying to say something about Fred Van Lente, who is writing the new book, and who could probably give a **** about Marvel Zombies.

But yes, I will also say that Kirkman's skill extends no farther than his creator-owned stuff. Yeah, I said it *****. Ant-Man was funny at times, but not really that good.

Agreed. I loved MZ1, suffered through MZ2, and am not looking forward to MZ3

At least it shows that when it comes to running once promising franchises into the ground in the zeal for every last penny, Marvel does not discriminate. ;)
