The title at least has been known since Tuesday night. Episode 12 is called "Seeds" in case you want a four-week head start on that one. :o

Whoever writes the synopses for the show should be replaced. There is always a danger to the team, one member of the team will suffer, etc. Maybe the write-ups are done by a bot instead of a person since they all sound the same.

When I saw the name of the actor playing the mysterious villain I got all excited for a hot second. Kili is coming to AOS! But no, the actor is Aiden Turner, not Aidan Turner. Aiden Turner is somewhat known for playing a stud on the soap opera All My Children rather than for being one of Thorin Oakenshield's nephews in The Hobbit trilogy. Hopefully Aiden's sorry acting skills have improved since I last saw him. If not, they can have him strip down like he did in most episodes of AMC to distract us with his smokin' hot bod. :word:

Would have been nice if someone had told me when I asked.

Starting them shortly after the previous episode is working fine for me. If you wanted to start it you had ample time, what with knowing the title and all.

yeah I thought it was the guy from the Hobbit too.

I'm assuming they're severely restricted by the whole Marvel "let's not give any spoilers" policy, they likely don't have a lot to work with.

If not for Melinda May, that still from the episode could be an American Apparel ad.

I just can't buy that team being so badass looking.

So Mike Peterson isn't coming back? Maybe he is dead. If so, that was a lame death :/ Not nearly as dramatic as I thought they'd make it.

Anyway, when are those new team members supposed to show up? Next season or sometime soon? As much as I like the crew that we have, a shake up in the roster could improve the dynamic a little - Coulson is going to leave a big gap in that dynamic.

If he dis in fact die, I'm ok with the death. It was very sudden, surprising and unexpected. To me, it shows anyone can die at any moment, like real life. That's not a style to rely on, but when it happens, its effective, in my opinion.

I doubt he's dead, too. He doesn't show up in the teaser, because they don't want to spoil him surviving. That's all.

I don't know. The centipede subjects didn't seem very damage resistant.

He's demonstrated enhanced durability and healing, plus he has an advantage over the other guys in that his powers have stabilized, and we don't know what other effect that could have. Plus, there was no body. :)

I think if he doesn't outright play a surprise role in Coulson's rescue, he'll show back up somewhere down the line.

Well Phil told him to spend time with his son, so that's why he may be away from the team

May and Ward I can buy as the team's badasses, but that little clip of them all dressed in black made me laugh when I first saw the promo. Who are they trying to kid? :funny:

Yeah, May and Ward are obviously exceptions. But the rest of the kids? Especially Skye's "Don't touch Lola." I was like "Trying a bit hard, aren't we?"

Mike can't be dead, after all it's a Disney's show. He is a single father with a boy, they'll never kill him, it's a bad message for the kids and for this show, the kids, are a relevant slice of followers. Try to think cynical...

It's not like Disney hasn't killed Mothers and Fathers from their sons before (Bambi. Lion King)

Disney has done enough ****ed up **** in their Movies.

Fitz & Simmons are about as threatening as a basket of kittens, which works for a couple of fresh-out-of-school nerds.

As for Skye, the writers are trying very hard to transfer some of Coulson's mojo to her. That has been extremely obvious, as when Coulson spent much of his time during Repairs building Skye up and lavishing praise on her. The writers must have read all the reviews criticizing the character and figured they had to do something. Better writing was apparently out of the question, unfortunately.

Bambi, as the Lion King, it's a history of training: a story where we grow with the main character, Ace is not a main character (and I find him a little bit annoying) would really be a malice kill Mike and let him alone with the Uncles, and otherwise I'm blatantly partisan for the only "special one" of the team, understand me u_u

@Xeno: Imho Skye is a pale attempt to make the "SHIELD's Buffy". The Pilot seem try this approach, but the '90 are over and Marvel guys seems get the message.

Bambi and The Lion King were the title characters....it was *their* story, not their parents'. Orphaning them was just a way to "build character." There's been no indication that the writers want "Ace" to take center stage and, I dunno, become Superhero Jr. or something. *He's* the peripheral character, not Mike Peterson.

Mike Peterson isn't dead. Bank on it. They would've at least given him a sappy goodbye hero scene if they really intended to kill him off.

I'm not going to believe he's dead till they show the body, I reckon he'll recover due to his supersoldier / extremis cocktail, which will set a precident for other characters surviving being exploded with extremis in them.

Sir, this is my Though! in a better english. Quote on everything.

Somehow, I think we can rule out Asgard as the aforementioned Magical Place Coulson went to .
