I think you're confusing the Marcus Daniels Blackout with the Ghost Rider villain of the same name...who you are again confusing with Blackheart...a different Ghost Rider villain who did appear in a movie (a terrible movie).

But otherwise, you nailed it... especial with the Bill Paxton remark.

As to why Deathlok suddenly shows up, odds are The Clairvoyant is giving him orders. And here's a hint: it's *not* Garrett who's giving those orders.
