"It's not a race!" But I guess this is your thing. :lmao:

Three episodes later?
yeah that would probably be too soon.

This could be a good way to introduce Taskmaster. I don't think that it will be him, but it could work if they wanted to go that way.

I need to rewatch this preview, but it just occurred to me... this episode comes out less than a week before the opening of Thor: The Dark World. Those floating bodies seemed reminiscent of another floating object from the beginning of that movie's trailer. I wonder if there's a connection.

At any rate, I expect we'll get hammered with Thor references (or maybe they'll keep it low-key).

Clever

Seems like a very interesting episode, i first thought of Graviton until the mention of it being a elusive killer, being related to Thor: The Dark World also makes sence, but then where does the killer really fit?

On Supernatural right after this the same actress was killed again too LOL

-FZZT sounds like some sort of electricity onomatopoeia
-S.H.I.E.L.D. is working with power sources (as seen in The Avengers)
-people are being killed by a killer that is difficult to find
-Graviton has been introduced
-Zzzax gets his name from an electricity onomatopoeia
-Zzzax is a being of living electricity that was created in an accident involving a power source
-Zzzax kills people to acquire more human intelligence
-Zzzax has teamed up with Graviton

Oh, don't mind me. I'm just thinking out loud. :)

Fitz/Simmons! Is one of them going to die (I hope so). It would make great character development for whichever is left.

Well, Zzzax does acquire intelligence from those he kills. Fitz/Simmons are intelligent, so they could be targets. If the Zzzax thing pans out, though, I'm thinking the team will survive. My guess is that Fitz will finally get his big moment, creating a containment system for the killer.

Another tidbit in support of the Zzzax theory...

Zzzax appears in the Ultimate Spider-Man episode "Exclusive". This version takes the form of a skinny humanoid, and again never speaks. When Spider-Man is interviewed by Mary Jane Watson, Zzzax and the Hulk show up in mid-battle, rampaging throughout New York. The police were unable to see Zzzax until it absorbed enough energy for it to be seen. After luring Zzzax to the subways, Spider-Man is nearly killed by the creature, but the Hulk saves him and Zzzax is seemingly destroyed. Later, it was revealed Zzzax did not die, but its powers were shorted out. With help from the Hulk and S.H.I.E.L.D., Spider-Man defeats Zzzax by shorting it out with too much energy before it could absorb the whole city's power.

I haven't seen this yet but why so little chat about it?

Fitz (and Simmons) have already had several big moments: Creating the fix for Mike Peterson's ills in the pilot; creating and using his cute little dwarf bots for CSI; figuring out how to stop Franklin Hall's gravitonium machine from sinking Malta; dealing with Amador's creepy eye; coming up with glasses that mimicked Amador's creepy eye; etc., etc. Fitz & Simmons are very handy and they definitely earn their keep every week.

By "big moment" I meant the kind of moment that would have ramifications throughout the season. If the Zzzax theory pans out & Fitz is the one that captures him that could be huge by the end of the season. For example, what if we got a supervillain origin once every few episodes? We already had Graviton, who was "captured" by Coulson. If each agent personally takes in one of the bad guys that could lead to an interesting team-up situation when the villains inevitably escape.
