This show just edged out Walking Dead as my most anticipated show to watch each week at least until Game of Thrones returns.

I am so glad I stuck with this show. It has really paid off.

They really are firing on all cylinders right now. MacLachlan's arc is right up there with Paxton's. I'll be sad to see him go but glad that he'll be eating pie and drinking coffee again soon.

Its interesting how Ward was the weakest part of the show last season and now he's one of the most interesting. I'm dying to learn more about the Ward family and I hope they cast his mother and father for flashbacks and other brother for the present day.

There's no doubt we'll see Ward's other brother at some point. Why not save him for season three? Honestly, Ward is the best character this side of James Spader's Red on the Blacklist. Where this show shines above that one is that AOS has multiple cool and complex characters.

Anyway, I thought they would be looking for the city for the rest of the season at a minimum. Instead, BAM let's do it now!!!!

I know it would be committing an entire big budget production team from the Inhumans movie to something already seen but are they going to show Attilan???

They used expensive CGI de-aging on Skye's father in that "25 years earlier" flashback. This is by far the best looking show on TV. Maybe they can do it at least at a glance?

Wouldn't it be massively cool if Marvel broke Inhumans casting news by having someone like Vin Diesel as Blackbolt suddenly appear on the midseason finale of a TV show??? That tops any press release. Marvel surprises at every turn, could they keep such a thing a secret?

I didnt think skye's father looked de-aged at all. If he's able to hold the diviner that implies he and skye's mother are one in the same, meaning he wouldnt age either...

Its quite disturbing what whitehall did to skye's mom though :(

This has become a great show. Want more.

Now that was a great episode. So much plot development! Love it!
And I was geeking out at all the Red Skull name drops!

So the big dude who's Fitz friend, is a ringer? He seems to keep on undermining Coulson. So he must have a reason?

Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, played by Henry Simmons. His main job is as a mechanic.

They need to have a Twin Peaks homage/nod soon...

They flashback cgi sure made Skye's Dad look exactly like Agent Cooper back in the day.

Skye's dad's de aging was done well.

I think for the elderly Reinhardt, they should have gave him a white beard. It would have made the makeup look more convincing and it would make sense in the context of him being locked up. Oh well, whats done is done.

He also was undermining Simmons/driving that wedge with Fitz deeper. I haven't decided if he's just following his moral compass or if he is intentionally eroding the team's trust in each other.

I don't know if this has been brought up before, regarding Talbot, probably has, but... (potential spoiler warning)
I think Glenn Talbot was killed by HYDRA in the episode where HYDRA impersonated S.H.I.E.L.D. We saw that disc thing flying towards him and then the camera cut away. Next time we see him, he trusts Coulson. It seemed too fast for me. It would also give them a way to bring Carl Creel back into the picture, because Glenn Talbot has access to him.

Yeah, my jury is still out on Mack. At first, I just thought he was a straight-talking guy who said what was on his mind, but now I'm wondering. They are definitely planting seeds to do something interesting with him if they choose. It could all just be a red herring to keep us on our toes when a "who do you trust" moment comes (btw, Bobbi Morse and Simmons are questionable now as well), or it could be a legit set up. Checkov's gun and all...

I thought he looked de-aged. Not everyone who can touch the obelisk necessarily has the same abilities. The assumption is they're Inhumans so their abilities might vary depending on that.

That's a Interesting Theory.

Skye's mom's vivisection was disturbing. I was surprised we saw something that graphic on this show. Nobody can claim they're holding their punches now.
I was a bit confused by what Whitehall actually did to de-age. Did he take the lady's organs and implant them on himself, or just bodily fluids?... that guy is truly sick. Love it.

This episode was excellent. It's going to be a long wait once they go on hiatus.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Alien

He's not just any alien. The Dec. 2 episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will finally reveal that its mysterious blue man from outer space — the one whose rejuvenating blood saved the life of Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) — is a member of the humanoid Kree race. Yes, that's the same alien species that gave us Lee Pace's character, Ronan the Accuser, in the Marvel movie blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. But all this means bupkis to Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team.
"Our people don't know anything about the Kree or that there's a planet full of them," notes executive producer Jeffrey Bell. "What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another planet?"
The Hydra terrorists have more manpower and resources than S.H.I.E.L.D., and their freaky obsession with the blue alien goes all the way back to the 1940s — the setting for ABC's upcoming spinoff series Marvel's Agent Carter. But S.H.I.E.L.D. has Skye. The do-or-die agent with no last name, played by Chloe Bennet, was also injected with Kree serum but, unlike Coulson, suffered no consequences. Similarly, her not-always-trusty cohort Raina (Ruth Negga) — again, no last name — was able to touch the deadly alien obelisk and survive without harm.
"You'll find out that Skye and Raina have something in common — and it's not that they're brunettes," Bennet says with a laugh. "Some of our überfans think the two of them are aliens. Or maybe they're something else — something different and special. It's all leading to a reveal that's mother-effing crazy."
Bennet, by the way, isn't giving up on Skye's love for turncoat agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton). "I still ship them as a couple," she says. "Yeah, I know Grant's a pathological liar who was playing everyone at S.H.I.E.L.D., but he wasn't fake about his feelings for Skye. I have to believe that. I have to have my ounce of hope!"
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.

They're both Inhuman.

I doubt Raina is related to Sky. The Doctor wouldn't have treated her like he did.

So everything is lining up how must of us have suspected.
