There seems to be a noteworthy casting in this episode. A character named just as 'man' will be played by Jamie Harris, who happens to be the son and brother of actors Richard Harris and Jared Harris.

I wonder who he's meant to be...

I just finished episode 5 of season 2 and man, I am so pumped for the next three episodes. Mockingbird surprised me and the actress who plays her is actually quite stunning. But she won't replace how I feel towards Black Widow because both are equally great but very different in terms of characterization. The twist towards the end where

was surprising too. There are some characters that get under my skin though, like that Hydra dude with the glasses...gah..and that other guy too. Forget his name...

Also I just had a thought. What if Skye and her old man arent actually anyone from the comics? Not to say they're not special, they clearly are, but what if they're just like..part Kree? Descended from some Kree visitors forever ago.

I just have a hard time believing that 1) they would ever admit to something like that being true (when the usual response on such issues is no comment, or to wait and see) and that 2) no one else (on other fansites) would have picked up on it and repeated it over and over ad nauseum in the echo chamber of rumors and speculations.

I remember it as well.

I remember something like that (or getting that impression) but I doubt they were that direct about it. More likely, they were cryptic and it was the best interpretation.

And why wouldnt they? Its what fans wanted. Also its clearly a recognizable name... they wouldnt be setting it up like they are for a made up character. They wouldnt tease her name
