Yeah sorry- just my opinion that they are no longer infallible. Some people don't like IM2 but I was fine with it. But I stand by my statement about the AoS writing. It has issues whether you want to acknowledge it or not. I bleed Marvel, so I hope it turns around.

I don't think she's so bad that she needs to be removed altogether. I just think she isn't a good primary protagonist (not counting Coulson).

A lot of these type of shows really take time to get the formula right. PoI is a good example. I like to think of a favorite of mine, Stargate SG-1, and how it really sucked when it started as far as fans were concerned.

Going back to the reports that the show is going to have an "African American SHIELD Agent" in a recurring role.....

I think it will be GW Bridge (but logical thinking points to the agent being a totally made up character), but I think there's an outside shot it could be:

I don't think she's so bad that she needs to be removed altogether. I just think she isn't a good primary protagonist (not counting Coulson).

Skye is an example of a quirky supporting character who has inexplicably been elevated to lead. She would be more suitable to snarking in the background while the agents get on with the serious action. Even FitSimmons are far more interesting.

No. Monica Rambeau is not a SHIELD agent. Akeela Amador is a likelier choice, though the producers would bot be casting the role if she were coming back.

Clint Barton and Sam Wilson are both associated with SHIELD in the Ultimate universe (which has hopefully been consumed by Galactus). The MCU has taken those origins over the 616 versions. In Falcon's case this was really for the best since although he started out with a great origin, a later writer retconned him into a pimp for no ****ing reason whatsoever. Monica, in contrast, has never been a SHIELD agent in any universe.

True. Consuming the Ultimate Universe would probably cause vomiting and/or diarrhea. But maybe that would keep the Big G in the cosmic john for while so he'd spare the 616 Universe. Well, except for Rulk, Red She-Hulk and A-bomb. He can eat them. t:

death is traumatic. as for the growth, maybe she could have a pym particle-related accident. i'd also settle for them just bringing in someone else to play the character. maybe she falls through the Siege Perilous and comes out the other side Rosario Dawson.
