sure. but i considered hayden panettiere, first.
But Rosario has nice......eyes.

death is traumatic. as for the growth, maybe she could have a pym particle-related accident. i'd also settle for them just bringing in someone else to play the character. maybe she falls through the Siege Perilous and comes out the other side Rosario Dawson.

Maybe Skye could undergo a transformation like Fred on Angel. A demon/alien/whatever infects her, consumes her soul and takes over her body, emerging with an entirely new, less annoying personality. Though in Skye's case it would be best if the transformation were total, with the body being replaced as well by one played by a better actress. Rosario would never do TV but there are a million actresses in LA who would be better suited for the role.
By the way, don't take the sniping of the Skye fans to heart. They're are lonely so attacking everyone who disagrees with them is their clumsy way of trying to make conversation. Pity is the best response.![]()

Maybe that could happen to the rest of the cast too. Coulson finds that they're all replaced and look completely different - almost like different actors entirely.![]()

Condescension is a good one too, apparently.

Hypocrisy. You're doing it right.![]()
I reckon you would know, considering how eager you seem to be to shut me down
t:There goes that hypocrisy again. You are really good at this.t:
News flash: It's impossible to "murder" fictional characters.
i'd be interested in more Victoria Hand. when she's going to make her heel turn?
Man I can understand the criticism for the show and as a whole, I think Arrow is doing a better job of expanding their universe right now but they aren't limited by the constraints of living in a much larger dimension where casting someone can be a major decision that will have ramifications for years to come. Marvel is game to use any character in the movies so that severely limits what they can and can't do, granted they can always recast but the whole point of shared universe is that it is all connected.
I have faith that by the end of this season will see more of a cohesive and unified show from AoS. I think it's going to be all about the long game here and they said they have a definite 2 year plan with the show. Hopefully this show goes long beyond that because I dig it but if it's just the 2 seasons then so be it.

1) The show, at the moment, isn't even doing a good job working with the materials they have.
2) If they knew this would be a problem going into the show, why not do a show based on a comic book character in the first place?

I get your point but I'm enjoying it. I would give it as a whole right now 7/10. Could it be better? Absolutely, but give it time. They are going to need time to really find their niche and I have a feeling once they do most of our complaints will be laughed off as hiccups. Visually I think the show is stunning and once Marvel starts allowing them to really dig into the mythos of the universe we really will be on the way to a phenomenal show.
I know some are losing faith but I trust in Marvel and I think they see whats going on with the popularity of Arrow and will start to mimic aspects of that show to bring in higher ratings.
But of course, I shouldn't be surprised. This is Whedon we are talking about here. With Whedon, it isn't about which character is the most complex or has the most story potential nor is it about who would fit better for the main protagonist role. It's all about who he likes; that character will be shoved down people's throats, even if more appropriate characters for that particular part need to be ignored/hurt in the process. It should be pointed out this is the same guy who refuses to acknowledge Hank Pym's importance to the Avengers and to Ultron but fought to get Janet as a founding member in the first film.
Whedon is the Geoff Johns of Marvel - a very talented writer but has too much of a hard on for his favorite "pet characters" that he would do anything writing-wise to prop them up, even if it means crapping on other characters.
