Agnostic, Deist or Theist Thread

What is your spiritual belief?

  • Agnostic (you can't know if God is real)

  • Apatheist (you don't care since you can't know)

  • Theist (he's real but you can't know specifics)

  • Deist (There's a creator who isn't involved in our lives)

  • Atheist (no God or creator is possible)

  • A major religion (like Christianity, Islam, Buddhist, etc)

For people who think it's impossible to know about God's specific expectations or if he exist.

I know there are four other religion threads (Cthulhu, Atheism, Christian, Salvation) but often Agnostics, Deist and Theist get lost in the shuffle and I felt their views should be explored somewhere.

So I have an anonymous poll to see how many agnostics, Deist and Theist roam these parts.

I'm voted and the choice for today (actually everyday) is Agnostic. After all, you can't be 100% sure right? ;)

You can always ignore them.

I'm not a fan of every thread so I avoid the ones I don't like.

Unpopular threads get dead and buried rather quickly. If others agree with you these threads will all be on page two in a couple hours.

I asked this in the Atheism thread, I wanted your views in here as well.

As a raised Catholic, I am no Atheist but my roommate is. We have been friends ever since we were little kids, we tend not to talk about the subject because we both become very passionate about our views of the truth, and we respect each other's boundaries.

I am a person who believes in God, but its funny, I tend to believe in Ghosts, the paranomoral, UFOs, extra terrestrials, etc. I love the unknown and have always had a very fond fascination with it. My roommate on the other hand is very analytic, he believes in nothing he can't quantify or explain.

Is this a trend you've come across as well? Being Atheists or just not believing in a God are you more "if its not in front of my face, I don't believe in it" when it comes to anything, not just believing in a God? I've just been curious about this.
