Alan Moore's "Jimmy's End"

So Alan Moore and director Mitch Jenkins's have produced a short film and a prequel film as part of a larger project they are working on. It is rather Moore-like, as can be expected. It wasn't bad and certainly worth checking out if you're a fan of the writer. How does this compare to all the adaptations of his work that he loves to complain about?
