I just want to know why there haven't been more?
I loved Aliens, one of my favorites.
If It comes on TV, I have to sit there and watch it, no matter what is going on.
And the first one had a great sense of wonder in the beginning, then switched to horror with the first facesucker.

But I saw little snippets of Alien

They facehuggers scare me

I saw Alien for the first time very late at night with a huge group of friends.
We all stayed over someone's house cause we had to do a play the next day.
We watched Jason vs. Freddy first.
Everyone thought it was crap.
Then we saw Alien was coming on, and everyone was like "hell yeah". Even the girls, and there were many.
Boy, that was fun. Scared the crap out of everyone while I sit there and laugh at all the gory parts.
I don't scream, I laugh.

I dont laugh or scream, i just find them fantastic pieces in really selling the idea to the audience. It doesnt scare me at all. Very well done, all 3 of them.

Because AVP is the craze now... would be great if they approached it like a proper film, But now we have to wait until they split the franchise apart again to get good films from either franchise.
