No Beihn wanted to return as Hicks, but they cut his character and Newt's out for that matter, because they are dumbasses.

Oh and when I saw the Order (annn....it was okay I guess) they showed that trailer it looks awesome. Seeing it recolored is great, that was like when you saw the special edition of Jaws or Star Wars cool. And that deleted scene with Dallas turning into an Alien looks cool, but will kind of screw up the continuity with the rest of the movies, oh well. I wonder if it will be bloodier? I mean Ridley Scott shot a very bloody movie that was toned down for 1978 censors.

Does anyone possibly, POSSIBLY know where one can DL the "O, Fortunata" Aliens trailer?! that was just the coolest one ever - I had it on my machine back before we got a Zip drive, and the HD crashed and I lost it.... and I haven't stopped sniffling about it since. That was so, so cool.

It was a trailer for Aliens that had an opera soundtrack.

Trust me, it totally kicked ass.

Then I had to go and lose it : cries : All else I lost that time I could bear, but that.... that was the worst. Especially since the site I got it from folded immediately afterward. Nowadays the CD burner takes care of all that don't-wanna-lose-it stuff.

from yesterday, DVDDebate has released some more info for the Alien Quadrilogy. Currently, this is only the Region 2 news, but im sure region 1 will have the same thing.it also states that the set will come out on December 8th, 2003.

I liked Aliens the best, then Alien, and I thought Aliens 3 was ok. Haven't seen the fourth. Do I want to?

Geez, how many thread discussions will we have about Alien?
Eh, I could talk all day about that series.

I love the first two on equal footing. The first is incredibly creative and one of the greatest horror movies of all time, while the other is one of the greatest action films of all time.
Alien 3 was OK. Not as bad an addition to the series as some people claim. It is an acceptable addition to the saga.
Resurection.....I pretend it does't exist. What a great concept for a sequel. Ripley comes back as a part alien, part human clone....A superhuman clone. What a fantastic idea! They just totally screwed the pooch. Unfortunately that movie seems more like a bad joke. I thought it couldn't get any worse.....Well, Alien vs Predator proved me wrong.

If Alien 3 was not part of the Alien movies and was a stand alone si-fi film it would be classed as a classic, but it was not and had a hard time living up to its history

Went with ALIEN. The franchise should be a horror flick in space (like the first one) but that changed with ALIENS. I did like that one alot but since the aliens were being killed left and right (quite easily at times) they lost their mystique to me. Plus, they were quite visible throughout the movie which doesn't leave anything to the imagination...I'm of the 'less is more' school. ALIEN 3 was alright. I still don't really understand why many give that flick such a bad rap. I haven't seen part 4...and I refuse to do so.
