The fact that it doesn't look similar to plastic like in the recent Predator Blu-ray but looks clean and polished is a good thing as far as i'm concerned. That looks beautiful and can't wait to watch it.

I'm wondering how the transfer for the first Alien is going to look like, as well as Alien 3.

Agreed. I've got the same issue with the TMNT box set.

Very nice cleanup for this transfer, some studios do a **** job. Glad two of my favorite movies will finally be on Blu Ray.

Yea go to the blu ray forums and they have side by sides of all the Alien Films minus Resurrection. They all look good.

Also it has been confirmed for the first time ever we will get to see the infamous deleted scene of Burke Cocooned.

While I really only liked the first two films the special features on the quadrilogy made the third and fourth film worthwhile. Not the biggest fan of the third film but the special features about the movie were interesting as hell, and I'm pretty excited to hear that they added more to them for all the films on the bluray release.

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed by this as well. Alien looked top notch on the DVD release, but Aliens always seemed to lack something visually in my opinion. Just didn't seem like a very good transfer, especially when compared to Alien which was made five or so years earlier.

That's really a smooth transfer . Aliens is one of my favorite films . I'm alright with the other sequels but they are still cool .

How much hours of special features are there out of all four movies total? Is there Fincher's director's cut in this?
