That's what people said about the 7 mile long tail that the Alien had in AvP when the first predator gets it through his chest and then elevated about 10 stories high, it was more like a snake come to think of it.

It's tail even "rattled" like a rattle snake. Stuff like that annoys the crap out of me, like Doc Ock's arms were hissing in Spider-Man 2.:cmad:

:woot:

And ....

Even as a toy it looks s***!!

There was one still released with the Predator holding a Alien by its throat. You could clearly see that the Predator won't be as buff as in the first AvP. Not only that, they also shortened his dreadlocks. And he doesn't wear a ridiculous amount of armor.

You talking about the head/shoulder still we got a while ago?

I don't think it's that obvious that he's not as bulky as the previous Preds. Although what we've heard from AVP2's new directors thus far, i get the impression that they have indeed gone out of their way to correct all the mistakes made by Anderson's vision, at least as far as the Preds are concerned.

Unfortunately, there was a lot more wrong with that movie that the aesthetics of the Predators.

That was the alien up above making the noise, not its tail. :oldrazz:

Agreed. But as a Predator fan, AVP just came off as Anderson being a little bias to me, and liking/respecting the Alien characters more.

Wtf? Two Predators killed by the same Alien in a matter of 5 minutes... . No respect for the Predator, imo.

yeah, that's true. but let's keep in mind that they were apprentices. the survivor Predator was a veteran.
one Alien killed two Predators, but one Predator killed all the Aliens.
I also believe Anderson liked more of the Aliens, even if were the Predators who won the battle.

What? The last one a veteran? Hell no. They were all young Predators that had to earn their mark.

Three Predators are put into the pyramid, since the old times. two are young and one is an experienced. and this is clearly shown in the movie. the skills of the surviving Predator are farther improved than the other two, and the other two had better armors. that means, when I Predator become strong enough, like a veteran, he doesn't need an armor, as you can see in Predator 1 and 2. they want to challenge themselves. and this can be seen in AVP, too. the younger Predators are armored because they are inexperienced. the older isn't.

o_O Were we watching the same Movie? Ok, first, it's been stated several time by Anderson and crew that all Predators were young and had to earn their clan mark. As seen in the movie, if the last Pred would've been already an experienced veteran then why the heck would he need a mark? Secondly, he was just as much armored as the other 2 Predators. Did you maybe take your glasses off midway through the movie?

The only thing the movie showed is that even among Predators there are cocky teenagers. Like the first two that were killed clearly showed. The 3rd Predator was the kind that paid better attention during class and wasn't as impatient as the others.

You're actually the very first person that I've ever seen that actually has the whacky idea that Scar was a Veteran.

don't need to be harsh here. the third Predator was there to 'supervise', for a lack of better word, the other Preadators. and the others WERE more armored then the third one. just see their armors again. then watch the old Predator movies. that is a experienced Predator, and the survivor of AVP was exactly like that. what Anderson said is ****. or you know the Predators, or you don't. and you don't. or you do but Anderson's word blind you. if you want to believe in what you believe, then go ahead. I won't discuss this again.

Predator's don't supervise. You either come out alive and earn your mark, or you don't. And stop being in denial. Scar was just as much armored as the other 2 Predators. In fact, he had even more armor. Don't believe me? Take a look.

As you can see they all wear the exact same armor. But only Scar wears additional armor to protect his stomach region. Now please stop talking nonsense. Scar was a young Pred like the other two. Only difference, he wasn't a hot head.

then why did he have to earn his plasma caster like the other two? and why did he have to mark himself? the older predators that came out of the ship at the end already had marks. if he was a veteran he would have one too.

Well, I think at a certain point honor stops and common sense kicks in. He has already slain an Alien and proofed that he was worthy. No use hanging around surrounded by dozens of Face Huggers and a hord of Aliens.

Although with that freaking huge Plasma Caster I think he could've taken them.
