I think an art thread ought to have a little more "meat" to it than a pair of images; that said, I'm not lord and king of the Hype! so my word isn't law.

Sigs are graphics, which are art. -anyone- can have an art thread. Sigs are a first step.

Well he only started this thread today, what do expect? Why wouldn't his sig design's count as "fan art" People post anything in their own threads including avvy designs, wallpaper's etc.

Besides if he wants to get better at doing manips then here's a good place to come and get some feedback and tips.

I don't see why not. Wouldn't it just be considered another aspect of fan art? Not that I'm a mod. I guess if you think there might be a problem then you'd have to ask Excelsior.
