The problem I have with Matthew McConaughey is he a bit to old for the role. If he where a few years younger I could see it. Honestly I wish Nathan Fillion where younger cause he would make the perfect Hal Jordon.

McConaughey won't be Green Lantern. There's no chance in hell of that happening. Hal shouldn't be older than Bruce, or the same age (45) with the rest of the League in their 20s and early 30s.

I dont see McConaughey floating in the air, flying up to space, kicking ass. Im sorry, but i dont see Matthew as Hal at all.

If he's going to play anything, it will be a villain.

The Ryan Reynold's comparisons will be unavoidable, but they should cast someone around their late 20's. You need to buy that they are young and headstrong, but are old enough to have experience under their belts as a pilot. Chris Pine fits that age nicely.

I can definitely see that one. Most likely GL will be someone who is an up and comer who's filmography contains mostly indies, supporting roles, or cable television. Just my hypothesis.
