De niro was already in a graphic novel film Stardust.

I'm actually having doubts he was even there. That Psycho Sith guy said New Mexico included Themyscira, but Shoeless came and denied that.

Aha. I said the casting call sheet went open source (i.e. Public) and it stated Themyscira...and pointed out Wilkinson's comments about being multiple locations. And I gave vague descriptions of buildings, haha

Ok, but that wasn't really my point. I doubt De Niro immediately knew or cared that Stardust was a graphic novel before hand, while if it were say a Batman film everybody would immediately know it's a comic book movie.

A string? It's literally like 30 bad movies and its not like oh De Niro was great in any of them and the movie just didn't work out.

His role in Silvers Lining Playbook is like the only good thing hes done in the last dozen years.

He has been mailing it in and living off his name for too long for me to be interested

So because he's done a bunch of dumb, fun, "cash grabs" recently he shouldn't be apart of the DCU?

And it's not like you can say he lessened the quality of those films.
