I was gonna write "well, at least we know he won't be John Stewart" then i realize that he could be John...

Im gonna call this: Common and Eastwood are not John/Hal. But just smaller characters in Suicide Squad. Eastwood especially.

Could Common be Stewart? Yes. But maybe they're still going with Hal for Justice League and building up John in the odd solo film until he leads the Green Lantern film in 2020. With Hal training him.

Lots of possibilities here. Would they cast him for Green Lantern even though he was attached to that role YEARS ago? It makes sense to cast him. It also makes perfect sense not to.

I dont think he's the best actor. He's better as a smaller character in the backround of a Suicide Squad movie. A prisoner or a soldier.

Serenity is the "space ship show"'s movie.... I don't believe you do if you haven't watched more of his original work. Whedon is leaving Marvel for a reason.
