It just occurred to me that if Batman wants to make Superman bleed he has his work cut out for him. Superman kept getting punched by fellow Kryptonians, that's about as hard as it gets, and not once did he bleed.

Then again going by that 5 second clip Superman isn't running at super speeds so he may be weaken after all.

I predict the fight starts outside in the rain, and Batman moves it inside where he has prepared a rigged arena. Like, a secret Krypton atmosphere generator or something.

I think their collision will be a "Greedo or Han?" moment of sorts. If the first punch comes from Batman that'll suck for some, if it comes from Nic Cage Superman, there's the question of why doesn't the fight end right there and then.

I could see Superman going all out on Batman especially if he's depowered. Could explain why he's not running at superspeed in the bonus footage. Maybe he simply can't.

I think Supes is de-powered in that shot, it sure doesn't look like he intends on pulling a punch. Otherwise we're look at special bat-gravy in the following scene.

I agree. I think the best Batman/Superman fight is from Red Son, where he contains Superman to one location, and depowers him under red sun rays. If the fight went like that, I'd be happy. Say, when the device fails, Superman has his hands on Batman's throat. That doesn't diminish Batman - it shows Superman can be defeated but only when the circumstances are pitch perfect. And it would show Superman's perseverance in a crisis.

I don't doubt this has been discussed at some point but there's an older interview with Snyder where he flat out says as much as he loves TDKR, he looks at that version of Superman as what NOT to do.

It was in a 12 minute video or so from ManofSteelAnswers or whatever, about how much Snyder likes Superman and how he's not adapting TDKR.

Well whether he likes it in that particular story or not, I don't know, but he was very clear that it's not the right characterization for this universe.

Well even if batman has kryptonite somehow and uses it,I just hope he doesn't completely dominates superman for more than a few seconds or a minute.

If superman is depowered in fights with batman then about 50% is good than completely drained. And if he only 50% he should still be dangerous and that hopefully explains the power mech suit for batman
