I don't know where people are getting this idea that Hal and/or John are going to show up in Suicide Squad.

Is it possible? Sure. I just find it odd that it's almost become the de facto assumption, when we have absolutely nothing credible to base it on.

Needless to say, they could do far better than Common for Green Lantern.

Bringing up Common for GL in SS was related at first. But there were also some speaking in general terms of GL casting. Which spawned talk of Pine and Hammer from my part for Hal.
