Regardless if these guys are right or wrong about Doomsday, and whether they can be total jerks to people at times on twitter, I do have to laugh at random people on a comic book message board acting as if they know these guys are wrong despite them obviously having far more connections in the industry to pretty much anyone here.

I think the biggest misconception of 'Man of Steel' is that Zod and Superman were actually fighting at the end of 'Man of Steel'. I watched an interview with Zack Snyder saying that the end fight wasn't a fight per-say, it was just a Kryptonian version of the children's game "Patty-cake." He really didn't want the the two to fight, but it just got out of hand because the Kryptonian way is much more advanced of that of Earth's. This was also an inexperienced Superman and at the end, he got the game mixed up with the Kryptonian "Rock, Paper, Scissor" and accidentally threw scissor and snapped Zods neck.

Man of Steel wasn't supposed to be violent at all. It happens.

And they're still wrong most of the time. :funny:

Man of Steel would have been so much better if instead of Zod killing everyone on Earth to reform Krypton, he and Superman just had a "Save Krypton Bake Sale".

My problem with El Maybe is that a lot of his "scoops" in the past have been proven false, so he doesn't exactly have the best track record which gives me reason to be skeptical of his claims.

With Faraci, he's just a biased *****e who has shown he isn't above making up lies about films and using his clout to sabotage them before they come out.

It's obvious they don't have my connections.

The problem with Man of Steel is that Krypton exploded to begin with. Krypton should have never perished in Man of Steel and the Kryptonian core should have been written to never having anything wrong with it. If Krypton exploding doesn't happen and if the core is never rotted, there would have never been issue's on Krypton and Zod and Jor-EL would of became the mighty men they were destined to be...friends. Kal-EL would have been the first natural born Kryptonian, paving the way for Krypton society to lead into the next generation and Earth would have been left alone as our own species.

Of course, though, if all of that would have happened, it wouldn't be a Superman story anymore, let alone a superhero movie but what we're after is perfectness for EVERYTHING.

So basically what you're saying is, Jor-El and Zod should have held the Save Krypton bake sale BEFORE Krypton blew up, makes much more sense, thank you.

We're getting somewhere. :up::up:

Too bad Snyder had to go and ruin it.

I know Suicide Squad is currently shooting and all but any BvS or DCCU news would be nice. Particularly if it's not from El Maybe.

So the thread is going back to extreme sarcastic comments that happens every now and then.

And I am having one hell of a time reading them.

Two more months until SDCC. :word:

I'm hoping WB announces that they have scrapped this DCCINEMATICUniverse in favor of a standalone Batman V Lex Luthor movie with Christian Bale returning as Batman and Billy Zane onboard as Lex Luthor with Joel Schumacher directing. One can only dream.

Ooh man.... Ohh Man..

Wouldn't you love it!

Let's pretend for a moment that the muscle in BvS is Doomsday: if this were to eliminate a possible Death/Return story in the Superman sequels, what sorts of stories could they possibly tell in Superman solo films?

Brainiac.

As well as Metallo, Parasite, and Mongul.

Just watched the trailer for the...I don't know what my count is now. I'm ready for more.

Pretty much same here. I need new footage, badly.

Just curious, why are alla y'all so all-fired certain there has to be a so-called "physical" foe in this movie?
