I think it'd be a very good idea for DC to enlist A list actors for some of the minor members of the JL. These characters wouldn't be stars of their own superhero franchise, they would be supporting players in a JL movie, and it'd be easier to get them to sign for 1 or 2 movies rather than 5 or whatever the main JL members sign on for.

Also i've been thinking about who should play Hawkman and Hawkgirl, and i settled on David Oyelowo and Lupita N'yongo. I think it makes perfect sense for those characters to be played by black actors, considering the Hawks' ties to ancient Egypt.

Watching the MoS scenes KRYPTON INC. posted in the previous thread and having not watched the movie in a while, I was surprised by how much I liked them. As much as people love to give the movie crap for being "humorless", it's really not, as demonstrated by Kal-El's comments to Dr. Hamilton in the first one and Lois telling Lombard to **** off in the third. It's just not as overt as in other movies and kind of downplayed. I also really liked the stuff between Clark and his adopted family; I completely sympathize with Jonathan wanting Clark not to use his powers recklessly, because he knows that if he does, people will want to hurt him. It's ultimately because he loves him and wants him to be safe. I really hope we get some more good scenes between Clark and Martha in BvS.

Yep, agree with all of that. There is plenty of humor in MOS, it's just not as in-your-face as it is in some other movies. Which is why I never bought that "WB has a no jokes policy" story for a microsecond.

I have nothing against this script, in fact I'm impressed by the effort to create a half-believable script that goes over 150 pages.
