It's really not a big deal, but they missed an opportunity with the look of the Daily Planet. The building could've been the most visually appealing building in the DCEU, but they went with something pretty standard and bland.

Like I said, it's no big deal, but still idk why they went that route when there was so much visual potential.

I'm so tired of hearing this ridiculous question rephrased.

What's the point of anything in these comic book movies..? Not everything has to be practical. I'm so tired of mindsets like this, that have carried over from the uber realistic Nolan days.

The point is that it looks cool. Why doesn't Flash just wear a standard black suit, why does he have to be decked out in red and yellow? Because it looks cool. Not everything in these worlds is going to be practical. This world will be semi grounded, but not everything is going to be practical..

I'm very very mildly disappointed that the Daily Planet lacks the globe, I was just exaggerating.....

Stryker's Island is usually a prison in the Superman mythos. Of course, could be if the battle is there that after the leveling of it that it becomes a prison site?

Maybe the globe was knocked down during the events of MoS but was salvaged and placed in the lobby after as a more in-your-face reminder. Maybe they just wanted something different. Either way, not a big deal to me.

I would say it's almost certain that Joker was the Red Hood in this universe before the acid bath. Because if Jason Todd Red Hood is really coming to the DCEU, that means he got the name from Joker..
