Batman v Superman was one of the greatest films that i've ever watched this year.

I really hate those snooty critics, forget em.

agreed, once I get my ultimate edition with the deleted stuff I intend to do an edit and see if I can't make it better for me. there are some scenes in it now that don't need to be. the pace is way too slow,it drags. not sure how much I can influence that. all those long takes on nothing really. After Bruce finds out about the party invite he goes to the cave to stare at the suit and we see the Robin one. But other than showing us the Robin suit it does nothing for the story and the film goes to Bruce taking the cover off the car to go to the party. 2 perfectly congruous ,flowing scenes broken up by a scene that could have fit somewhere else just as well. Or left out. Like the mausoleum,flowers,blood,bat scene. Yeah we get it,Bruce is tormented. Quit hitting me over the head with it.

I don't know, but it's a key reason why I hated this movie. My guess is, they either didn't know how to write dialogue for him, or they just didn't care because BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN CAN'T TAKE THE FOCUS OFF BATMAN. Yeah, God forbid the audience be able to empathize with Superman.

Yep, it also happened in Man of Steel where characters talk for him. Not as heavily as this movie, but it's still there.

Yea, before BvS I didn't care too much about seeing a fleshed out DCEU/JL, but after seeing it I am definitely excited.

I hope before Justice League someone does a huge chronological edit of Wonder Woman, Man of Steel, the ultimate cut of Dawn of Justice, and maybe the Batman-relevant stuff from Suicide Squad. Combine Bruce's scenes with the actual Zod fight and whatnot.
