Well, if you couldn't tell by my name, I love the Monster Hunter games. I have Freedom Unite, Portable 3rd for the PSP and MH Tri for the Wii. In fact I'm online right now on Tri. Just look for Roon and that will be me.

Not many Monster Hunter fans around here. Including me. Not because I dislike it, I just haven't played one. I'm looking forward to trying the HD rerelease of one of the PSP ones if they decide to put it out in North America though.

I suppose it is a game that not many people used to having things handed to them in games can get into. It requires a little more pre-preparations, brains and willingness to do your research! While I do play Unite every once in awhile, I actually prefer Portable 3rd/HD and Tri better because the gameplay is much more streamlined.

Whenever you do get HD, you can play via Ad Hoc I believe with those that have the PSP version of the game. I'm HR6 on 3rd and am always willing to help anyone rank up in the Guild Hall. Unfortunately at the moment I'm in the process of moving out and I don't have my PS3 set up for Ad Hoc yet.

I wear full Escadora Gunner and my character has Green Hair (It's a YuGiOh abridged reference. "Screw the Rules, I have green hair!") and I have been told by other hunters that my character looks like Morrigan.
