Strange way to reveal designs. Supes suit looks to be the exact same, so I guess the rest fits too, albeit in cartoony form.

Like the look of the Black Zero. I thought it was a robot at first. Reminds me of a tripod fighting machine.

Was the bald dude Zod then? Didnt really look like the Shannon-version.

Right.

So, Superman vs robots then? He can finally unleash a ****-storm upon something without having to worry about killing it.

I wonder if it's definitely gonna be robots in the film tbh I hope it is rather than more Kryptonans as that way he can smash through them.

Yeah, robots probably makes it easier technically FX-wise and makes for some better potential action and explosions. That's probably what's being hurled at the building in the CC-trailer.

Oh yeah think your definitely write there.

Does anyone else find it kind of amusing that the
Super Flight "vehicles" appear to be based on the SUPER POWERS Supermobile?

Zod's ship definitely bears a resemblance to the tripod featured in JJ Abrams' SUPERMAN script.

Yeah...um this sounds cool. More sci-fi then I was expecting.

I'm very glad of this! The sci-fi...ness is one of the reasons I love the Superman mythos so much.

Well if we really do have Zod possessing Robots at his disposal, I guess that could mean that the other mo-cap men that we saw alongside Shannon at the Kent Farm Setting could have been them then.

The robots will be the prison guards patrolling the black zero prsion ship.We know the rest as zod take control over the prison ship and the robot guards.

Well even though the commercial for the toys are purposefully made to look cartoony, i hope the final product has them looking more menacing; and I'm hoping that they avoid going down the route where they look similar to the Hammer Drones in Iron Man 2.

I was thinking the same.

Since the date on these videos is March 20th, 2011, I wonder if the look of Black Zero changed since then. I also wonder why the video that is supposedly from March 2011 has a fan-made S logo in it, which was created months later....

Okay, I'm on board with the whole robot army thing. Not sure how I feel about the ships locking together in such a transformers way... hope that's not in the movie in a way.

And that's what mo-cap Zod will look like? Weird... was honestly expecting something more along the lines of the 'For Tomorrow' suit.

It's still possible that the look of the costume/outfit may have changed quite a bit since the time that these figures were made, which I'm actually hoping on as well.lol

Yeah, god me too. I mean, unless Zod is some kind of mutant who can make himself look like... that... :funny:

Well I guess this is Zod's full armor then:

It does make you wonder though, if Black Zero was originally a prison that had inmates alongside with Zod, will they play in a factor into the story or was Zod and Faora perhaps the only surviving inmates of that prison. So many questions...

Yeah, I guess it's plausible the rest were killed in the escape?

Im glad it seems to be keeping the awesome aspects of the Abrams script.

With Zod I always picture the typical story of the inmates/fellow criminals becoming servants to him with Supes to usually mop the floor with them later on.

So if large portions of Metropolis are destroyed, I could see the reason behind some of those posters that were supposedly spotted on set that were saying on how Metropolis will rise again.

I definitely like the idea that Zod will have some heavy arsenal at his disposal to use in his conquest of Earth as opposed to the simple use his superior physical powers to take over everything via Superman II.

If the ship is a prison then I think after Zod's defeat Superman could repurpose it as his Fortress. It's a ship so it's all Kryptonian technology, it can defend itself, the cells make for his mini zoo. Could work. Land it in some crevasse near the north Pole and there you have it, a functioning Fortress.

The Black Zero isn't the FOS. The FOS is a separate ship that is buried in ice in the north that Clark goes to independently of Zod. It's where he finds his suit and talks to Jor-El. He uses the key/necklace to enter.
