I have so high hopes for this movie.

The Dark Knight trilogy was Amazing but I felt the Dark Knight rises was more a Nolan movie than a Batman movie.

I really hope they keep focus - And stay true to the material even if the movie is a huge hit and Snyder turns into a Hollywood juggernaut.

Zod and faora have all superman powers and their better fighters.What build up?Zod will blast him with full force.Superman will not be able to hold back his powers fighting other kryptonians, definately when they can beat him in hand to hand combat.

What I meant is that I want to be able to see the lasers building in Superman's eyes instead of it just being a quick shot. Much like the difference between Superman breaking the sound barrier in SR and MoS.

Wha...I can't even...

Right now, there is NO anticipation (outside of us, the fans, naturally). You can't build up something from nothing. Keeping things underwraps for as long as possible is something that established franchises and highly popular characters (in movie terms) can afford, certainly not MOS.

I also think some of you are underestimating the importance of early marketing and perhaps have too much confidence that this film will automatically do well at the BO, which couldn't be further away from the truth.

But, instead of boring everyone and myself by writing a small novel about the subject, I'll do everyone a favor and give it a rest. t: Until December! What needs to happen in the time frame between late November and the end of the year is this; A proper trailer (not a teaser like CC), a new poster, a DOZEN of movie stills (and some good ones too, not just bearded Clark sitting on the stairs talking to a dog...) and a cover story in one of the bigger magazines, most likely EW.

But what might happen is that we'll get a slightly different version of the CC teaser, a few uneventful stills (which they should have ALREADY released) and a lame poster and then nothing for another two months, in which case I'd say that there will be good cause for concern, unless if you don't care how well MOS does at the BO of course.

I think the teaser packed more of a punch than you give it credit for - The crowd in my Theatre was buzzing!

I thought the teaser was quite bland. Luckily, I saw the bootleg version of the trailer shown in Comic-Con and thought it was infinitely better than the teaser; otherwise, I wouldn't have given Man of Steel much of a though.

Rather they should just bring back the classic neckline and boots and leave the MoS suit to MoS.

I'm hoping the trailer being released with The Hobbit has more of a tone similiar to the CC trailer, but with a bit more action, mixed with some emotion of course.

You know, I'm curious about one thing.

Are big scale films like MOS tailored in a way where the producer has a lot of authority over how much can be revealed and said about that said film during the months before its release?

It's just that I've noticed with Goyer's and Snyder's comments (from Comic Con) on how whenever they're asked about the film at times, that those two would respond by saying that Nolan wouldn't want them to talk too much about it in some way.

I'm actually wondering on how they'll approach the fight scenes in this film without taking huge chunks out of the budget but in the same time, not depowering the kryptonians as well.

So far, the closest thing that we've seen to a faithful portrayal of a live action fight between two individuals that rival in Superman's powers has been the one between Neo and Agent Smith in the last Matrix film.

Aside from being criticized as being too much of a boyscout, another criticism that the character has received over the years is how the character is too powerful at times where it'd take something immensely powerful to give the character a proper physical challenge, which would normally require taking out a large sum of money.

I think it's a fairly safe bet that Kryptonians will not be as powerful as they have been portrayed before. I wouldn't even be surprised if it was STAS level of strength.

I want like the Bermejo one but that cape is a little much. It looks good from the low angle but unless I was to put it on a high shelf, the cape is all you would see.

I don't really get the connection you're trying to make between the creative team being tight-lipped and the movie being like "The Dark Knight Rises." Obviously they cannot talk about the film yet. End of story.

It was confirmed ages ago with set photos and with interviews from Shannon that he wore mo cap suits for Zod.
