This film reveals that even on Krypton, young Kal-El was a special child, whose birth was cause for alarm on his home planet.

Hmmmmm...

It brings up the old question: Does Superman have to be even more special than he already is? It's an interesting idea for sure, but...

PLEAAAAAAAASEEEEEEE no prophecies. Seriously, I massively have my fingers crossed that's not what that means...

But I guess i'll have to deal if it is :(

FINALLY!!! They officially release that bad-ass pic of Superman!!!!

and.......HEAT VISION!!!

HEAT VISION MY MAN!!! I literally could cry! :woot:

And now that they spoiled the train slinging they better show it in the trailer!!

What hope? Hope of extinction?

Say that there was a time "prophesied" where the Kryptonians were to become "decadent and slothful", and that the "prince of hope" would restore Krypton's people to a place of enlightenment, reminding them of (to use my own **** from my novel :hehe: ) "empathy, honor and perseverance". I don't know.

Who cares? You'll forget all about it when Superman swings a train at Zod. :woot:

So glad they finally released that pic! Bring on the heat vision!!!!!

Ironic isn't it? Everyone on Krypton is likely to have been a "hopeful dreamer" about this prophecy from the start if that's the case.lol

Maybe as a baby, Kal-el finds out about the prophecy and reacts to it like this:

Place of enlightenment = non existent planet?

baby Kal-El was special because he was born with a perfect spit-curl. :woot:

Godfrey, you're the expert..What's up with the "special double issue" and "1255/1256" thing? There will be two issues?

Hi.

And what now? Do I get a reward or something? :word:

Godfreyleethius you good man you:yay: Don't all go about being happy now folks because we still need trailer NOW!!!! Not to be negative but doesn't his right hand on the ground look a little cgi-ed. No big deal :woot:

Maybe Kal El rightly births a prophecy of doom into Krypton, not hope? Or perhaps both, paradoxically. A controversial child. The doom belonging to Krypton, the hope belonging to a distant primitive planet called Earth.

It's a double issue meaning there won't be a new EW for 2 weeks, hence the 2 issue numbers.

No this issue is simply a double issue. Get it? :yay: Simply means it will be on the newsstands for two weeks, instead of one. Which means more MOS promo time. :woot:

:funny: I'm one of the Kryptonians! I AM a hopefuldreamer!

But... Please stop posting pictures of baby's...

For some reason i'm finding them terrifying! :wow:

And more pages than previous magazine spreads... hopefully :)
