Am the only one who loves that suit and likes that movie?
I liked the movie and the suit was fine.

My out of left field theory about Kal-El being special...
They might be going with the Byrne version of Krypton, with all babies carried in an artificial womb (birthing matrix as they called it) with Kal-El being the first natural conception, pregnancy, and birth in a few generations.
Wild. Absolutely wild. Couldn't possible be true.My out of left field theory about Kal-El being special...

Alright, question time for C. Lee and/or Showtime..
Do screencaps of tablet edition magazine articles count per the rule against posting magazine articles? After they've officially been released, of course.
Ah, Showtime and I SEE SPIDEY, don't you remember those good ol days??t:

I'm really hoping we get a shirt rip by the end of the film, perhaps right before credits. But then... that'd feel an awful lot like the end of the Smallville series finale. Hopefully, probably, they could find a way to make it stand on its own. I can't think of any better way to end a new Superman film for a new generation than him doing a shirt rip and flying off into action.yeah, I was thinking that, too. and I'd be totally fine with it.
This cover is WAY better.
and I actually hope we get a similar shot of Cavill in glasses doing the shirt rip.
it's not a Superman movie without a shirt rip!!![]()
Don'y you think Cavill is a bit thin to be Superman?
No. IT is just that haters can't help but compare and try to build up MoS by insulting SR. Just how it is.

Fortunately and unfortunately.

I am not sure if you are being serious or not. I am going with not.
A 5/10 kinda validates the bashing lolI liked the returns suit, and thought, and still think the film is decent.
A solid 5 out of 10.
It contains some good elements, and some bad elements, that combine to give a very jarring, and inconsistent film.
I don't get why people have to bash it all the time. It's not as bad as people make it out to be.
I have so many conflicting opinions about RETURNS, lets not get me started.
Cheers. That's quite a trip. I can't believe having Superman always be my favorite character that I really avoided everything leading up to that film. I'm grateful really. I wouldn't have had to stomach the disappointment. You can still read the old picture threads.

I was browsing through them the other day. People were pretty damn happy with how Routh looked in most of the set pics from what I could tell. Including people that still post here today![]()
I meant, compared to the comics, but I've just realized he is really good, otherwise he would look exaggerated...

I understand the comparisons between SR Cover and MOS covers and other media, but lets not get into the "I Loved Returns" -- "I Hated Returns" conversation.
