All Things Superman: An Open Discussion - - - Part 68

MOS feels much more like an event than STID did. Feels like it's going to be the movie of the summer. Quite possibly even the year.
I really enjoyed Trek, but I'm almost as hyped for MoS as I was for TDK.

Also, I'll just leave this here.
You made me do this, PowerCosmic!!! This is your fault! :argh:
Scene: Zod has destroyed every Carl's Jr. in the tri-state area. A lone city worker has the last burger. Kal-el is famished...

People watching scenes in trailers out of context. :hehe:

I love that he kinda of lives on in the Arkham games. :yay:

geez I swear some people just lack the brains to function and reason properly

I saw where someone said that Jor-El and Lara both survive and visit the Kents on the farm while Clark is at prom and some other such ****, and Snyder "confirmed" it...how stupid can you get?

Goyer and Nolan always say that MOS started when they struggled with TDKR at some point. So at least TDKR gave us Man of Steel.

Too be fair, that is why the cut the trailer in such ways. To play with people's mind. Most don't reason as well as some fans who spend hours breaking this footage down and putting back together in a reasonable way.

So how are you going to get a 4-5 hour film down to under 3 hours? You start writing another one. :D

And at least I got both TDKR and MoS. :super::ybat:

Before Raw ended its most recent commercial break, I saw TV spot #6.

Yeah if they're going that out for it throughout the night (on air mentioning, TV spots, etc), the crowd will definitely get the "sneak peek" as well, whatever that may be.

Either way, excellent exposure.

I love Bruce Timm Batman...And I appreciate his approval.

I would lose it if Bruce Timm helped write or produce a future Batman film. :o
As much as I love the realism and noir in TDK Trilogy, I really would like the next Batman reboot to be just a bit more comic booky, a bit more fantastical.
Oh, i'm also here for the return of yellow in the Bat shield. The Begins shield was perfect, and the DK and DKR shield was so small :(

If WWE wants to give us a real sneak peak they'll show Clark with glasses.

There's some reviews coming out of Australia apparently, I don't know if any have been posted here.

Besides, AICN one there hasn't been any other reviews posted.

And TV spot #1 just aired on USA.

It's simple folks...you were told to stop the sex talk...I just deleted 22 posts with it....the next time you go on probation until after MoS comes out.....

Don't complain if you refuse to listen and keep talking raunchy, folks.

For those who care - USA just teased an "Exclusive first look at Man of Steel" following Monday Night Raw tonight. So around 11:00/11:07pm EST tonight on USA.

After seeing these TV spots, for the sequels I want hard hitting villains that bring ground shattering action just like these Kryptonians. Along the lines of Doomsday, Darkseid and of course Brainiac. Really serious threats that only Superman can handle, and even then he stuggles. Create a spectacle on the screen and elevate the threat. Luthor could still be behind the scenes.
