Warner Bros. don't know what they are doing at all. They are like tides being swayed by violent winds. My biggest fear in all of this is them screwing up the Man of Steel trilogy doing something out of their depth.

Does anyone think it might come out July 2015. Sounds like a tight time line, but remember this movie was pushed back 6 months from it's original 2012 release date, and they finished shooting it what now seems like an eternity ago. A lot of the groundwork (Superman's costume etc) has already been taken care of, and perhaps Goyer has already been working on the script. We aren't privvy to everything WB does behind the scenes, and for all we know they could be in early pre production for the sequel. If MOS has a big OW, I bet we'll find out pretty quickly what WB plans are.
I could see a 2015 date, hopefully it's not rushed like Iron Man 2 was.

MOS2-Superman, Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman talk about their J:A agenda, and all band together to fight "Drainiac" a Doomsday/Brainiac combo who gets killed in about 30 seconds. :)

Now come on, JL not making a billion or over it? Nah. Even if it came out in 2015.

Dude if it was garbage it wouldn't make a billion. And thats exactly what a JL film would be if released in 2015... garbage!

On a positive note, Spiderman 2 came out 2 years later than the first. :yay:
That's a good point. As long as it turns out well I guess I shouldn't care how quickly it comes out. If MOS opens with 100+ mil I expect to hear something about the sequel on Monday or Tuesday.

wouldnt a neophyte Superman add to the tension of the team...WW thinks she should lead, Batman thinks he should lead and it pulls the team apart but they realize that Superman should lead and a team is forged going into act 3.

Perhaps, but if Superman himself is still inexperienced then there would be no justification as to why he should suddenly lead at the conclusion of the film.

a movie having a quick turnaround shouldn't be too much of an issue if they keep the same director and producers...I can guarantee you that Zack Snyder has been thinking about where to go for MOS2...in fact I am sure Goyer, Nolan and company already have it figured out, hence Zack's comments about Lex Luthor.

I will take the great big golden god as the leader for 1000 Alex!

Superman in the comics doesn't lead the JLA because he's been doing it the longest...he's the leader because he is Superman...and it will probably get as much justification as Avengers did....a single line of dialogue

I honestly think it's only natural that Superman leads, because he doesn't really want to. Batman is too shady, and untrusting. WW is.... Someone give me a reason for WW cause I cant think of one.

Well actually, I wasn’t really referring about him having done it the longest, but him just having had some experience as opposed to the idea of him going straight from his origin film to a team ensemble since I doubt that the guy would be ready for that responsibility when he’s only just figured out that he wants to help humanity with a costume at the end of MOS.

Speaking of which, I do wonder on what makes Superman continue being Superman once Zod is gone because if I'm not mistaken, it's said that Clark's push towards donning the suit and exposing himself to the world really comes as a result of Zod invading earth.

Another threat being teased at the end of the movie possibly? Or the fact that he thinks it's now his responsibility? Numerous possibilities.

In my mind I think movie WW should be a violent character. She is here as an ambassador but when it comes time to knuckle up she uses extreme force. I think for someone who grew up under the law of the roman/greek gods she will be very quick to dole out punishment. I know not many people will like this take but it keeps her from being Superman in a bra.

Depending how Superman is portrayed in this film his methods will have an effect on Batman and WW. Batman is fear, WW is violence and it is Superman as hope that brings them more in line with their comic characters.

I wonder why Jenn hasnt tweeted in 3 days

She's busily engaged in a discussion with another woman, and they're talking about something besides a man. Damn it, I don't know the other woman's name. Crap! That's a big Bechdel fail:cwink:
