folks can at least act civil if the worst happens. id rather know to lower my expectations ahead of time.
not that I think we have cause to worry or anything.

Why should I lower my expectations because some on SHH didn't like the film? No offense because I adore you guys but a lot of you have different taste than I do.

That interview gave me even more confidence about the movie. Its almost hard to have realistic expectations going in when you have things like that. Granted I'm not hard to please so I will probably be smiling ear to ear and telling my family to take the car while I go back in for a second helping.

He was a big Spider-Man fan who had closely followed the film for months and he saw an early screening of it and he basically compared it to Green Lantern. And the boards went ape-****.

After that incident, he just left the forums never to be seen again.

Not even outside of the ASM threads.

what I mean is, their opinions as superman fans will prolly mirrior alot of us here as well. They may not like it, but I, or you, may. which could mean another split happens.
If diehard fans from here dont like it, then houston, we have a problem.
but again, im confident all will be well.

I'm only going to say this one time because it is off topic.

I don't know exactly what went down in TASM boards nor do I want to but Rim was a grown ass man (I'm assuming), he has stayed away because he wants to. Letting people get to you enough to not come back shows weak character IMHO. I understand taking a break or leaving because you just don't want to be here anymore but staying away because Spider-*****e defenders teased you is pathetic to me.

If people start acting like ***** and you can't handle it, stay away from that board, it's as simple as ABC.

Jeez... he probably thought one of us would try to contact him on twitter and ask him why he left.

I was surprised when he left all of a sudden just because of that backlash. Didn't think he was the type to let it get to him. I just find it hilarious because the fans were so angry with him, and he didn't even try to defend himself. He just left. lmao

Yeah, that confused me. Maybe a lot of those posters on here followed him on Twitter continued to pick on him. Such a damn shame. I loved his posts and he was one of my favorite members on here.
