Nolan can't be there forever.
As with any mortal he can be dealt with accordingly, Seline style.

If The Avengers is going to affect anything, it's Justice League. That's it.
BTW, am'I the only one who thinks that DC SHOULDN'T do what Marvel is doing, and instead come up with something unique on their own to do a Justice League film. Example: if it is stand-alone and not interconnected like their films are and have been, then make it effective and work to the point, among other things, that you can have two examples on how to do a superhero team film based on an large universe and make it work.
And instead of Avengers, why not X-Men as an example? People seem to forget that X-Men have ALOT of characters and their stories that probably would take alot of movies just to explain, and yet they manage to have balanced in all of their films (well, except for 1-2 of them but the point remains).

And WB definitely shouldn't copy Marvel Studios. They got to the idea first and they claimed it with a very good film. Instead, WB should shoot to one-up The Avengers by using a massive arc like Kingdom Come or Blackest Night or Infinite Crisis.
I would be more in favor of keeping him, if the studio didn't use him as a crutch. They'll have to test the waters eventually. It may take another decade, though.Yes. Lets get rid of the one asset that WB/DCE has in their favor.
Haha, you are dreaming.
They couldn't even nail the scale of a Green Lantern origin film.
Right, because WB is far different than Marvel Studios. At best, we get one CBM released a year (on average).
2014 looks like is going to remain hero-less.
WB will be seeking to green-light another ensemble film (since 2007) but in order to achieve success, the executives have to have a vision, a great director and a capable writer.
They can't half-ass it like they did with Green-Lantern.
Right.
But a JL movie with Nolan onboard would be a huge thing.
Trust me, if The Avengers makes +900 million, WB will be looking to get in on the action. Remember, Nolan's trilogy ends in July and Harry Potter ended last year. WB needs a cash cow.

Cuaron would be the best choice there. Not only is he skilled in the effects department of directing, he certainly knows how to bring the drama in for characters. Which is important for a JL film.
I can't wait to see his film [Gravity] later this year.
The Hobbit.

WB already tried to exploit their DC properties in an attempt to fill the void and compete with Marvel's Avengers lead-ups, ...and GL failed.
That's the one that's supposed to have the 17-minute opening shot, right?
WB needs more than one cash cow...
Green Lantern was a bomb, but that was all on WB. Mark my words, this won't be the last time WB attempts another big DC property, and we haven't seen the last of Green Lantern.
I would SO love a WW film, but I think The Flash will be more likely.
IF my math is somewhat right, I think it's possible that Snyder might have a very rough cut of the film available to watch for him and a select few by December at least.
I'm still hoping that we'll get some word of the reactions that people had over seeing those very early cuts of the film and that they're positive ones to.
