I still can't believe that it won't be long before we'll get back in the pre-production process where we'll be scrambling and over analyzing every new set photo that we get.lol
i like elba as an actor, but i want dwayne to be john stewart.
Dude i would be down as hell for that. That sounds awesome.
I was actually thinking about this the other day
wbs been trying to get him to play a dc character for so long. them casting him as GL wouldn't surprise me at all
i know the guy is dying to make a cbm too.
I can't wait.
Has Callan Mulvey been discussed yet? Based on his looks, I'm guessing Deathstroke, mocap Doomsday, or even Ares (in order to kinda justify WW's appearance)
It would be hard for me to look past him being "The Rock". He doesn't have enough range to disappear into the role and his look is too distinct.
Black Adam. I'd like to see him as a villain.
Black Adam, Lobo...I think he'd make a good Steel.
this isn't the kind of role that require disappearing into. it isn't the kind of role in which dwayne would be out of his element.
I'm actually wondering now as to whether the first official still of this film will just feature Batman and Superman together or whether it'll feature the DC trinity.
Why you got to psyche me up for things that will never happen? Why, Lee? t:
You want people to use common sense? You want too much, buddy.
On another note, I still hope that the beginning of the film opens up with a montage to show how Superman has started to establish himself as a hero within Metropolis and slowly across the world; showing some of his heroics caught on camera or hearing other people talking about their life changing experiences from when they were saved by him.
Honestly, if one of the major reasons why Wonder Woman and Batman coming to confront Superman is because of the events of MOS, then it really makes me appreciate the film even more because the scale of the climax was global.
I mean if Superman didn't stop the world machine or didn't stop a rampaging Zod, then Diana and Bruce would likely be dead as well.
It kind of is for me.
As a life long wrestling fan looking at The Rock as Green Lantern would probably kill my immersion.
On other news, Charles Roven talks out of his ass - calls the ludicrous DC films being "more adult" than Marvel films. Lol.
He also says no title has been chosen yet. Give us a name?
You couldn't have expected him to give up any real info there lol.
Im hoping Hippolita comands Diana to investigate the world of man because of the events of MOS. It would be even greater if ZOD and companies actions awaken Ares.
He's really not far off from the truth in that statement.
Steel is and forever will be Shaq. Deal.
that's patently obvious given nolan's trilogy, mos and green lantern, with the latter suffering because of it. i don't understand why marvel being less adult is a bad thing anyway. all that means is that they want to make films that more people enjoy. yes children are people too.
I say this, not just referencing Marvel films, but any film in general; but when you have a film that has comedic elements placed at certain moments that can disrupt on how serious the situation around them is suppose to be, then I think it hurts the film in a way, especially if the goal is trying to present the antagonistic and villainous elements in a threatening and truly menacing way.
