wbs been trying to get him to play a dc character for so long. them casting him as GL wouldn't surprise me at all

Has Callan Mulvey been discussed yet? Based on his looks, I'm guessing Deathstroke, mocap Doomsday, or even Ares (in order to kinda justify WW's appearance)

It would be hard for me to look past him being "The Rock". He doesn't have enough range to disappear into the role and his look is too distinct.

It would be hard for me to look past him being "The Rock". He doesn't have enough range to disappear into the role and his look is too distinct.

this isn't the kind of role that require disappearing into. it isn't the kind of role in which dwayne would be out of his element.

Enough with the "it's being rushed" song, please. In Batman Begins I saw Batman with a Joker card as his last scene after a conversation about escalation. In Man of Steel I saw Superman taking down a drone as his last scene and a Wayne Enterprises satellite 5 minutes before. And now apparently Batman uses drones in this one, drones that are controlled by satellites. It's been there all along, you just didn't see it. Same writer, same type of movie. Coincidence? Not at all.

You want people to use common sense? You want too much, buddy.

On another note, I still hope that the beginning of the film opens up with a montage to show how Superman has started to establish himself as a hero within Metropolis and slowly across the world; showing some of his heroics caught on camera or hearing other people talking about their life changing experiences from when they were saved by him.

Honestly, if one of the major reasons why Wonder Woman and Batman coming to confront Superman is because of the events of MOS, then it really makes me appreciate the film even more because the scale of the climax was global.

I mean if Superman didn't stop the world machine or didn't stop a rampaging Zod, then Diana and Bruce would likely be dead as well.

As a life long wrestling fan looking at The Rock as Green Lantern would probably kill my immersion.

Im hoping Hippolita comands Diana to investigate the world of man because of the events of MOS. It would be even greater if ZOD and companies actions awaken Ares.

that's patently obvious given nolan's trilogy, mos and green lantern, with the latter suffering because of it. i don't understand why marvel being less adult is a bad thing anyway. all that means is that they want to make films that more people enjoy. yes children are people too.

I say this, not just referencing Marvel films, but any film in general; but when you have a film that has comedic elements placed at certain moments that can disrupt on how serious the situation around them is suppose to be, then I think it hurts the film in a way, especially if the goal is trying to present the antagonistic and villainous elements in a threatening and truly menacing way.
