This was suggested awhile ago, but they should just film every scene from the animated movie in real life.

I don't think anything will ever capture the characters as much as the animated DC movies. They embrace the characters so well and aren't afraid to go deep into the mythology.

I look forward to DC's animated movies more than Marvel's live action. They're that good.

Eh, Justice League: War was very disappointing. And it's the liftoff point for all DC animated movies in the future. If they're all going to be as shallow as War, I'm not very excited.

Movies, yes. But Marvel has more than held up its own with Spectacular Spider-Man and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Too bad both shows have been replaced with far, far inferior jokes of shows.

I still think nothing Marvel does comes close to the Fox Kids 90's Marvel era and their shared universe. Good times.

I agree. The comic arc was rather thin. Basically an issue and a half of character development and then 4 and a half issues of fighting parademons.

The movie improved upon that by adding a little more characterisation, but adding Shazam at the expense of Aquaman hurt it I thought.

is a good ideas man and has written some strong stuff.

The only thing that bothers me is how he depicts Wonder Woman. Other than that I like him. I think Jim Lee is more of a problem.

What's wrong with Jim Lee?

He's drawn some of the best DC art of the last decade.

His style looks phoned-in lately and a bit stiff/outdated. It doesn't feel like he elevates the writing the way that Ivan Reis' or Greg Capullo's art does.

Superman Unchained would've worked better with a different artist.
