The crazy thing is just how many films have these sorts of titles only now it's the mother of all talking points. From avengers to the apes to the TF and star trek movies..As with all things, the buck really does stop with WB/DC.

As someone who loved the idea of a World's Finest sequel to MoS, it isn't about Superman fans having an "inferiority" complex. Everything coming out so far has a very TDKR flavor to it, and pushing Batman to the forefront. Call it marketing if you'd like, but it isn't as if they haven't messed this up before.

Where does all the blind faith come from? I am still optimistic, but the idea that you can't question anything is stupid.

What is the big issue of talking about this? How does Batman get first in the title, when it's suppose to be Superman's movie...?

For a good part of the movie, it seems likely that he'll at least appear to be the lead antagonist. It seems pretty obvious that things will change though, and Luthor will show his true colors. It's highly unlikely that we'll end this movie still wondering if Batman is a bad guy.

Very true, WB are heavy hitters. But I think when the Star Wars Episode VII title gets announced, it'll be an even bigger deal than this.
