This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]484375[/split]
Well, sometimes it's just actors who want to have some fun or make something their kids/grand kids can see (this is like the go-to response).

If anything, I think the inclusion of actors like Jeremy Irons, Anthony Hopkins, and other great actors of a higher name value shows the comic book genre is reaching out to more and more actors and actresses and is drawing in more of these names.
What if Bruce had files on some of these people already...
so awesome.I think Robert Redford being in Winter Soldier was the biggest tour de force in casting for a Superhero film in a long long time. Or at least since Nicholson did Batman.
Makes you think that maybe, just maybe if the stars aligned and the script was dynamite... Daniel Day Lewis would do a CBM.
Didn't they approach him for Zod?
And the heroes...

Yeah, WB/DCE has sure has a hard time attracting talent of the caliber of Michael Caine, Jeremy Irons, Amy Addams, Ann Hathaway, Lawrence Fishburne, Gary Oldman, Ben Affleck, Russell Crowe, Jesse Eisenberg, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Christian Bale ect. to their films. Actors like that just don't want to be part of the DC Superhero films. They are SO very wary of working for DC, as zryson said... Oh wait. I meant the exact opposite.
Had a quick look through social media; found this image
