Being the only male on an island full of attractive, exotic women is what's hot.

As I showed in my other post, CGI can be improved as the movie gets closer to release.

My complaints are about the shot composition when Patty and the team used green screen. It makes the CGI look unrealistic and without depth.

Yeah, that scene looks off. And there are some other things, like in this gif it appears there's a frame missing in her animation. Her face skips from one pose to the next.

But just like you mentioned, those things can (and will be) fixed...I hope ;)

Almost forgot that Geoff and Alan wrote this

But i'm not worried about CG, they work on it up to the day of release

If the subject matter is WWI, go ahead with "darkness". WWI: claustrophobic trenches and scary new forms of warfare, a lot of it fought in cloudy, cold Europe. If you can effectively juxtapose that with WW's compassion and hopefulness, more power to you.

What worries me is the ending, and how they intend to tie it into the long absence. "I used to want to save the world [and don't anymore]." To yet again use Superman's vapid BVS death as the big catalyst for moral awakening in JL, if they're going that way. It feels phony that someone who was trained as a warrior, who should at least be familiar with the old wars of history or those involving her people, would find just one adventure dispiriting enough to disconnect herself for that long. Basically, forcing a piece into the MOS-BVS-JL puzzle because it's the only way to make it fit. I'm hoping for writer's cleverness there, a solid reason for it that manages to also reflect the newfound "these are hopeful characters" agenda that's been hinted at. More than hopeful, I'd like them to not be so wimpified.

I'm most certain that Jenkins' WW will be nothing like MOS, BvS and Suicide Squad. The only point that I'm unsure about is how dark (as in the story treatment unless Geoff John jazzed up the screenplay) Jenkins will go for WW. The trailer doesn't tell much how the film will flow, except for the Etta Candy portions most of the other sequences seem serious.

I get the impression that some of you have never saw a Jenkins film. Jenkins' previous film (Monster) and TV works dealt with subject matters that didn't lend to any form of light heartiness and escapisms.

Hmm, a WW movie devoid of light "heartiness" and escapism. No thanks.

(Psst: the movie will of course have lighthearted moments and will provide escapist pleasures to the audience. Not to worry)

I have a feeling that everyone in that photo dies in the movie, along with some Amazons. There's a set photo of them celebrating the end of the war and Chris Pine and co are no where to be found. Only Etta Candy but who knows

Because of things like that directors wait with trailers. James Gunn always talks about it. He doesn't want this kind of awkward sequences out there representing his movie. but you know WB.. gotta release 5 trailers and show everything in order to make sure the movie doesn't bomb, because they don't trust their movie.

Wonder Woman, with this trailer, suppressed Doctor Strange's (!!!!!!!) trailers, when it comes to minutes. It's frustrating, because Doctor Strange managed to blow away people in the theaters and head to a $95m opening weekend with the WOM. It's possible no to show everything, keep people intrigued, and give the audiences an experience in the theater. Doctor ****** Strange. Who the **** is he compared to Wonder Woman?

CGI look good --don't know what you would expect for a normal human to move in same way as a super-powered being:

I'd be fine with that shot if they were able to superimpose Gal's face over the computer generated image. They actually did something similar with Cavill in BvS with the exception that a stunt double was involved.

See here.

Don't let me stick Black Narc & JMC on you. :lmao:

The trailers already got two light heart sequences involving Etta Candy. However, I'm feeling that Jenkins will approach the whole film a little more seriously. Just how serious and the level of filming detail, I have no idea.

The movie comes out in June, of course the CGI is going to be better. Nothing looked that off to me, but when you look at gif over and over to pick out flaws you are going to see what ever flaw you want to find.

There's an interview from Gal from earlier this year where she stated this movie was "pretty dark." I'm sure her and Jenkins are probably not allowed to utter that word anymore but I do think this movie will continue the serious tone of the DCEU movies.

Overall, the CGI in the trailer looks fine to me. Plenty of time to sweeten it. They've already made noticeable changes. Everything looks remarkably good. It's the best trailer I've seen in over a year (though that Arrival trailer is spiffy). I'm glad I'm not one of those who loops GIFs all day long to pick out the inconsistencies. I'd rather enjoy the movie.

After the trailer...She is climbing out from the trenches dressed like a stripper. I guess about the movie: All of the critical will give it a very good opinion, and will say that it's much more fun than the BvS or the SS. This trailer freaking me out already: It's an another completely unserious live action origin story which you can watch while you squinting.

I will smear poop on your face.

Some questionable design elements aside, I must admit (with quite a bit of surprise) that Hemming didn't entirely **** up the costumography for this film.

It is highly unlikely, but it would be cool if there were Megalodon's around the island like there was in Gail Simone's run.

As much as I like Simone's run, I could never understand her fetish for bizarre animals.
