Yeah, that scene looks off. And there are some other things, like in this gif it appears there's a frame missing in her animation. Her face skips from one pose to the next.

But just like you mentioned, those things can (and will be) fixed...I hope ;)

everything in the trailer looks fine to me but this.
it looks really bad, looks like bad photoshop job.

The visuals are great for the most part, but some scenes (like the one above) look video-gamey in the same way that portions of MOS's final big fight did.

There's plenty of time for them to fix it though, and some of the CGI already looks better in comparison to the first trailer, as it's been posted few pages ago. So I'm pretty sure it will look better. Of course, there is a possibility that some parts will still look a bit video-gamey after all the work is done, but I learned to expect that with these types of films.

Do a freeze-frame analysis of Ben-Hur’s classic chariot race and you’ll find dodgy “cgi” of Charlton Heston. :cwink:

:hehe:

All I'm saying is, sometimes CGI is quite noticeable in these films. In "Jungle Book" kid looked very unnatural to me for most part (probably being the only thing of flesh and blood in the entire film), still, despite not being a fan of CGI approach when it's not necessary, I can get past some dodgy CG every now and then.

it still is really hard to pull off a realistic looking person with CGI.

if you over-analyze and keep looking at a gif that replays over and over and watch it like 60 times of course your gonna notice things lol

actually i noticed that one when i first saw the trailer on youtube.
maybe you don't if you watch it on your phones but it's pretty noticeable on fullHD TV screen.
but hey, i'm sure they will fix that one by June so no worries here.

When Pine says "The war to end all wars" he's under the Lasso's spell. At the bottom right corner if paused you can see the glow of the lasso. Neat

Yup, he was under the spell during that whole interrogation. Kinda reminds me of animated WW film.

I'm sure it is. Slow motion doesn't help when it comes to hiding imperfections either.

Pretty much all of these comic book movies look like video games. And again, they have until June to fine tune the cgi. I watche it on my high res laptop and didn't see all of whatever some here talking about. Anyway, I'm just happy they have her flying.

Meh. It was glaring the first time I watched the trailer.

Jenkins is showing her rookie "action" status with the over-abundance of slow-mo.

^ I don't think it has much to do with Jenkins being an action rookie. Some of Snyder's action master scenes looked similar to what we see here. It may just be limitations of the machine, so to speak. Or perhaps it's just in an unpolished state, as some other posters have said.

I highly doubt that's flight and just a leap and they used a pose reminiscent of the way her flight is sometimes depicted.

It would be completely inconsistent to give her flight seeing as though she didn't in BvS, all Amazons are using horses, a rope to leap off a cliff, she dives off a cliff, she uses a horse, she takes a plane in BvS, she walks into no man's land in the battlefield, etc.

No, she doesn't have flight and that's the right call because that needs to stay unique to Superman as JL need to differentiate from each other.

One think that really bugs me in the MCU is power sets all starting to look the same - Cap, WS, BP, SM are basically all the same.

She needs flight as does most of the JL, that's powerful imagery they usually have and that the Avengers don't. But that's a whole other topic...

I think in the trailer she is not flying, but she is unlocking her "ultimate ability" ..to call on the skies and blast lightning or something like the daughter of Zeus she is...which, for some reason, requires her to be levitating 50 meters above the ground to pull off. (I don't know if she does this in the comics ever but would be a cool power to give her.)

oh the ridiculous only superman should fly argument. Just because the other amazons don't fly doesn't mean WW can't. She's the only amazon that flys anway in the comics and animated series/movies. In that trailer she shoots directly straight up and hovers. And guess what all the Green Lanterns fly, Martian man hunter flys and many other justice league members fly. That just sounds so dumb that super man needs to be unique. He is one of his race just like everyone else.

if she has the ability to leap very high and levitate, she might as well be flying.

I also don't think that she was flying in that scene. And I prefer her to have heightened athleticism in terms of superspeed and these high jumps of hers rather than flying ability... given her background of an Amazon warrior, it fits the character better that straight-up flight. I kinda wish they went with that approach in the comics, and I say that as a big Wondy fan.

Jenkins did say that BvS didn't show her full powerset which will be more fleshed out in WW solo, but if she had the ability to fly like Superman, one would assume she would do so during the Doomsday battle.

She had no reason to fly in BvS. And why would they say it didn't show her full power set and then that being all she can do. They wanted to save something for her solo and her realizing she can fly is a huge moment. She doesn't need to fly like superman just fly like Wonder Woman, as she does in every thing else she is in. She doesn't need to be depowered just so fanboys don't feel superman is threatened. I say this as a huge superman fan. She shot straight up from something that was floating in the air and hovered. How is that so different from flying? she can obviously jump high from an angle combine that with hovering, that's flying. I've never understood why someone would want her abilities stripped from her for 'uniqueness'. All of these superheroes share many of the same powers. It is how they use them and their own personalities that make them unique.

This has nothing to do with that (especially since I am not much of a Supes fan, or rather wasn't before MOS), as I said, I just think the aforementioned approach fits the character better. At least it is more visually interesting for me to watch a character with sword and shield engaging in close combat while making those powerful and violent jumps than flying in the air.

As for her not having a reason to fly in BvS, I can't really agree with that, as she was fighting a fifteen feet tall monster.

And we only saw her hovering for a short while in that trailer, who knows what is exactly happening in that shot. Perhaps she was indeed flying, but I know how deceiving these trailers can be, so I won't claim anything for sure as of now.

I am not entirely convinced she is flying in the trailer either, but I'm not ruling it out.

She won't fly it would just make everything she has done not make sense and make her way too OP, basically have Superman's core power set plus magic weapons plus combat skill.

I like how they're depicting her very atheltically with that spin in the air and then landing on her feet running. That doesn't indicate flight to me.
